We used Juan & AHR for a new home we bought in Red Bank and were very happy with the outcome. The work he and his crew did for us wasn’t major but was pretty extensive and included a full house interior paint & skim-coat (it was a 120 year old house so some spots needed the skim-coat more than others), two new custom bannisters, half bath complete demo/remodel, replace 14 light fixtures, install window coverings, a handful of custom carpentry solutions that would be difficult to explain here, misc bathroom reno stuff, installation of hydro baseboard heating in finished basement, smart switches

Juan and his team did a great job on some light renovation work. Cut stone and Installed downdraft despite some complexities that came up, gutter protection, drywall tear down. They were consistently on time and didn’t require micro management - once you explained what you wanted they knew how to get it done, but also asked for feedback when different options came up. There was some miscommunication on a more complex part of the project but Juan remedied the situation. He was honest and accountable, and checked in throughout the project to make sure things were going well. We are hoping to use

AHR Design Solutions remodeled our bathroom. Our home was built in 1923 and the few issues of doing a remodel on an older house were handled quickly. The team works clean and was respectful of the property (inside & out). The quality of the workmanship was excellent & it was made a priority that we were happy at every step in the process.

Thanks to Juan Carlos the front of the house looks magnificent. The landscape done in the front of the house plus the trimming to the front door change the whole look of my house to a different level. The family room looks better than before he was able to manage my budget in a way to make everything looks perfect.

After having another contractor install our Master Bathroom, the shower began leaking so badly it came they the room underneath. The water was coming out of the light sockets!!!

Juan and his crew transformed my dated and dingy newly purchased condo into a bright and beautiful new home. My unit was essentially gutted. Juan put in new ceilings, lighting, re-sheet rocked the walls, installed vinyl floors with radiant heating, redesigned the laundry room and created an open-kitchen with a well-thought out design, quality cabinets and a beautiful backsplash. In 2015 we used Juan and his company to do a complete remodel on a 35 year old kitchen in our home. From estimate to finish Juan was always available for questions and stopped by every day to instruct and check on his crew. The project went so well that we then added a dining room and Living room update which included painting, crown molding, hardwood flooring, and picture frame boxes on the walls. Juan was involved in every step from choosing kitchen cabinets, counter tops, and even color of paint.
