Called on a Friday at 1pm about a clogged and backing up shower drain, and was able to schedule a drop-in between 4 & 5pm. I was pleasantly surprised to see them arrive early at 3:40pm. He was quick, thorough, and cleaned up after himself! It was much appreciated as I know Fridays can be busy. Can't say enough good things about Boris.

Ok so Boris showed up wearing overalls, but after he left I feel like he should have showed up wearing a FREAKING CAPE because he's SUPER HUMAN.
Seriously, I called rather frantic needing a garbage disposal/kitchen sink fixed ASAP and he said "15-20 maybe 30 minutes." 8 minutes later his truck is in front of my house. 5 minutes after that he's got all the materials he needs to replace the garbage disposal and clear the drain laid out in the cleanest way possible. 16 minutes after that he's DONE.

He spent an about an hour to clear the toilet draining issue but then it got clogged within 8 days again. I called to tell him about the issue and he told me his guarantee for my original job was only good for a week. I was charged $300 for the first job and now he wants to charge me the same price again but recommended that he should snake it through with the toilet removed, but that will cost at least $500 min. It's real dishonest of him to do the first job then tell me his guarantee is only good for a week after the job is over. Use someone else.

I debated writing this, but it haunts me.
I needed someone to come over and repair a washer turn handle. It was spraying water. I got a quote from this guy and he said "$275 to replace the handle". I agreed to this. He was late. When he showed up, he said all he did was tighten the handle. He charged $250. I asked him to change the handle for the agreed $275 price. We had a problem with a pipe in a shower leading to a leak in a different part of the building. Boris came out the next day, had the problem diagnosed and fixed in a couple of hours. He was very professional and explained what he was doing and broke down the costs at every step.

Awesome service, came in to replace the water valve that was leaking. I don't want to mess around with do-it-yourself plumbing. Came in an hour after my call, and replaced everything. ALSO, a few months ago, the same service was used for shower valve that broke off with age. The special part was ordered and installed in less than an hour. I highly recommend their professional service!

Boris was very prompt on replying to my request at 9:30pm and continued with the conversation the next morning. Scheduled to come out to remove clog behind the washing machine at noon but came out at 9:30am because he had an opening. So quick! Would use him again.

Absolutely fantastic. My toilet started leaking at the base and I needed someone soon. Super responsive when I messaged through Yelp--I think it was only about 15 minutes! Made an appointment for the next day. Came on time, fixed everything beautifully for a very reasonable price. If I have any more plumbing needs, will definitely use them again. A+!

Have had Boris come over twice now and he has always been on-time, professional, and great to work with. Once he came to fix a water heater that stopped working and he diagnosed the problem and replaced the broken part quickly. The second job was a more complicated replacement of a valve for the water main, Boris fixed the immediate problem at night on short notice, and then scheduled a follow-up after he had the right parts. He re-cut the pipe and replaced the valve seamlessly, and then replaced an outdoor faucet that was dripping since he was on-site too. Invoiced me exactly what he quoted

Service was friendly and incredibly responsive. We had a broken water heater, and no hot water. Boris came over on a Saturday, figured out the problem, and ordered the part that needed to be replaced, since it wasn't in stock. He kept in contact, made sure we knew how long it would take, and it was fixed as soon as that part was available - he called, picked it up, and brought it over to finish the repair.

The hot water heater stopped working and it was after normal business hours so the place that we purchased the unit about 3 years ago was closed. We waited until the next morning before contacting them to find out they don't make service calls. However, they recommended Boris with Bay Area Plumbing and provided his number.

Boris came on very short notice after one of the braided hoses burst on my sink. He explained to me how to turn off the water from the hose to avoid any damage to my property before he got there. Replaced the hose in minutes and was very fair. Very thorough and knowledgeable. A+++, highly recommended!
