This company did a terrible job for us. They are unethical and unprofessional. You'll notice the reviews mention a man named "Mike." Guess what? Mike sold this company years ago and is no longer affiliated with the company, so you can disregard the older reviews. A big red flag is they should have started a new Yelp page, but of course they didn't. Whatever you do, STAY AWAY. If you aren't happy, they won't fix it. They don't know what they are doing and are very expensive. BUYER BEWARE.

Similar experience as another Yelp reviewer. I called for an estimate and they sent someone out the following week.
The guy assesses our brand new pavers for a seal. A quick measurement and he quotes me $3,000. I told him it seemed a little high and asked what the job entailed. The guy started walking away, seemingly annoyed, while briefly telling me what the job actually required. Already had a foot out the door.
Sooo, I simply asked what exactly I'd be paying for, and you're annoyed? Already walking away?

I had a really great experience with California Clean & Seal Restoration. Their work turned out great and I'm very happy with the result. Those guys love what they do and it shows, they answered all of my questions, were super helpful, and seemed eager to share their knowledge. They transformed the old ugly pool deck and coping into a beautiful backyard, re-did the driveway and restored our the outdoor kitchen. We are finally proud of the new back and front yard. Our exterior concrete hardscape received a completely new makeover.

I recently needed a pavers and concrete specialist to help me remodel my backyard. I purchased my home several years ago and invested all my time and resources into fixing up the interior areas. Thank God for unanswered prayers! I called this company to have them come out and estimate a paver driveway to be cleaned, sanded and sealed. First appointment was a no-show. I will admit Sharon called and apologized for that (but only after I send email and left message wondering why no one showed). The next day someone came out (not sure of his name). He was rude, curt and simply blurred out $4500 within the five minutes he was here. Isaac came out to look at our job and thought perhaps we should replace our pavers since they looked pretty bad. We didn't want to do that so we set up a good clean and seal appointment. Jerry came three days in a row to get this job done. He was on time and so courteous. We're very happy with the outcome.

For years I have needed to fix my driveway and have had several contractors come out and give me bids. I never found the right contractor until I found California Clean & Seal.
They did such an amazing job and they stayed within my price range so I decided to extend the job and have them build a concrete retaining wall for me. Hiring California Clean & Seal was the best decision I could have made! My husband is in the Navy, and away on deployment. While he was away I wanted to surprise him by repairing and restoring the concrete patio area that is around our pool and lounge area in our backyard. We are big entertainers and we have parties all the time (before Covid of course), I guess all the people walking around, water from the pool, rain, roots, and all the other wear and tear, wreaked havoc on the concrete. After shopping around for the best bid for concrete repairs at my place of business I decided to give California Clean & Seal a try. I got a hold of Isaac, the owner of this business and he was absolutely amazing from the beginning.
He walked me through the process, gave me an estimated time to expect the work to be done, and an expected price. In general, I never trust a contractors word when it comes to timeline and price, they usually find a reason why it is going to take longer and cost more. Issac from California Clean & Seal had previously came to the rescue when we had a paving project we needed taken care of, so when we needed someone who specialized in concrete, I knew exactly who to call. It seemed like everyone was doing home remodels and repairs during the pandemic, so we decided to hop on the bandwagon and tear out our backyard patio and have a new one put in. Had Cal Clean and Seal come out and provide a quote. Since then...crickets. No response to voice mails and no response to many text messages. The president of the company (Isaac) is simply not responding. If you don't want the work simply tell your prospective customers you cannot do the work. I am ok with you not wanting the job...just tell me instead of making me wonder what happened.

We hired this company to service our driveway with efflorescences . The owner Isaac was extremely pushy to collect a prepayment. We settled on having a sample done and lucky for us that is all they got. Crew showed up and poured muriatic acid without taking proper precautions. They power-washed and damages concrete by making holes on it. When we contacted the owner he said he would come inspect and never showed up. He finally responded with the following text:

We just had them complete a huge cleaning and restoring project on our flagstone patio and cement refinishing around our pool and patio. They did a great job and our patios look brand new. The job took longer than anticipated, but the quality was good. Our service people were courteous and professional. They were invested in our satisfaction. I would definitely recommend!

This company is not reputable. Do not enter into any agreement or you will be sorry. A man came to give us a quote and hustled us into setting a date (because they are so booked!) and we ended up giving him a check for a deposit. Our mistake. Their projected date to finish the job was 3 months away. A few days later we were hit with money issues and called to cancel. We wrote them a letter and called them many times with no response. Isaac and his team did a great job straining my pool deck. I was not sure if I wanted to pay to have new concrete poured but after speaking with Isaac, he let me know that he could pour new concrete but staining would be better. After telling me that, I knew he was not about chasing the dollar but yet what was best for me.
I highly recommend Cal Clean and Seal not only because of there excellent work but also because of there great customer service.

This is a follow-up to my two reviews of this company. Please see the attached screenshot of the text message Isaac just sent me. He is threatening me to put false reviews on my personal business if I do not remove these posts. I intend to report him to Yelp and pursue every extent of the law allowable to ensure this type of blackmail and threats does not go unaddressed. Once again for those of you who are reading these reviews, this business is one to stay away from unless you want to experience this type of illegal blackmail, threats and coercion.
