Quartz (Engineered stone) is a composite material made of crushed stone bound together by an adhesive, (most commonly Polymer resin, with some newer versions using cement mix).

These guys are excellent! Very conscientious when doing their work and take pride in what they do. All about pleasing the customer and providing great quality. We have quartz that has dark veins that really stand out. They went out of their way to match up veins at all of the seems in our counter tops and backsplash so it's virtually seemless.

I had A1 Quality Stone fabricate and install new countertops for four bath vanities, kitchen, wet bar, and a large 14 foot kitchen island in full Alamo Heights remodel. Mike was very conscientious and professional, kept us within our budget, made great suggestions regarding materials, under-mount sinks, backsplashes, and seam placement and discussed everything in detail -- in advance. He made certain the cabinets were level before & after installation. I appreciated his attention to detail & commitment to perfection! We came in "on time" and on budget! A1 Quality Stone did a BEAUTIFUL job in our new home. My husband and I are in the final stages of building our forever home and anyone who has ever built a home, understands the frustrations that come along in doing so. We were referred to Quality One Granite by a granite wholesaler because we were looking for someone to cut a few patio pavers. Upon arrival we were greeted by one helpful employee who put us in contact with owner, Kevin Otto. He was incredibly accommodating, especially since our request was not one they are used to getting. He had our pavers cut and on our way for a very fair price within 20 minutes. If this is the type of service we got for a job that is out of the box for them I can only imagine the service one would receive if having granite work done.
