Established in 2005 by owner operator Neil Swanson, Neil's Carpet Cleaning is a truck mount based hot water extraction cleaning service that specializes in steam cleaning of carpet, upholstery and ceramic tile. Neil is certified by the I.I.C.R.C. as Carpet Cleaning Technician, Water Damage Technician and Hard Surface Technician.

Exceptional value!!! This is the second time I have used Neil to clean my carpets and I will continue to use him in the future. Why? He shows up early, he works hard, he does a great job cleaning carpets and tiles, and he is pleasant to work with. You may have heard the adage "You get what you pay for!" and that is true with carpet cleaning. Go cheap and you will regret it. Neil was very friendly on the phone when I was interested in having my rugs professionally cleaned. I have many stairs leading up to my apartment and Neil was extremely helpful carrying the rugs down to his van where he could do his magic. The process took less then an hour and there was no need to bring all this heavy machinery into my home which was nice. Neil brought my rugs back upstairs for me and I was amazed how much color came back to them! They look brand new!! Can’t wait to use his services again in the future!

I had one 5x7 area rug that needed cleaning, but it did not meet the $100 minimum that most carpet cleaners require to come out & do the job. Neil has the same requirement, but he made an exception, & came out this morning & cleaned the rug for a whole lot less than $100. Having just moved here, I don't have more rugs & furniture yet that need cleaning, but I will definitely call Neil when I do.

Not sure what took me so long to write a review for Neil because he’s been cleaning our carpets every six months for TWENTY years!! He came to us by word of mouth & we have never looked elsewhere. He upgrades his system regularly to keep up with the newest & best products & equipment. He’s very trustworthy (he comes often when we aren’t home). He takes his time & is never rushed. I’m in the design business & therefore, have numerous clients who need their floors polished, tiles cleaned and carpets done—they have all had the same great experience as we have. I have used Neil's Carpet Cleaning since 2005, when I bought a beach front vacation rental at the Kanai A Nalu in Maalaea. It gets a lot of bookings, so the carpet gets a lot of wear. It is scary to have to rely on people you don't know for services on Maui, when you live on the mainland. My property manager on the island recommended Neil. Asking my guests how the carpet looked after a cleaning and hearing it looked like new, was very reassuring. I go to the condo during the year to work on it, and get the opportunity to have Neil come out when I am there to clean the carpets and

We recently called Neil to clean or sofa and ottomans and he did a good job.
Unfortunately that's where the good news ends. We arrived home to find that he decided to clean our brand new wool area rug and in doing so ruined it.
He first claimed he was doing us a favor by including it in the cleaning at no charge, then when I showed him that he had ruined the pile by doing so he handed us his bill and left our home.
My wife and I agreed that under the circumstances we could not pay him for his work until he had taken responsibility for his decision to clean the rug and reimburse us the difference

I had Neil Swanson, Owner, Neil's Carpet Cleaning, clean my tile floors this morning. I love the way the floors look now. I had not had a professional cleaning on my tile floors before, but I am so happy and plan to have them done every year.
I called/e-mailed for bids from 4 companies on Maui. Neil was the best value, and his process (truck mounted cleaning system) seemed industrial strength, so I chose him.
Neil called to say he was on his way. I appreciated the courtesy.
