Blackwood Landscaping was founded in 2007 with a push mower strapped into the trunk of a Mazda sedan and flyers posted on gas pumps. We have built our company into a full service lawn care and landscaping team from the ground up, with a dedication to client satisfaction and referrals driving us forward.

Maintaining healthy and attractive landscapes is a passion and a specialty at Blackwood Landscaping. While cutting grass can be a big part of this, there is so much more. Bushes and trees often need trimming or fertilization for optimum health and optimum blooms. Water features need cleaning and care to keep them operating smoothly with a clean and clear appearance.
At Blackwood Landscaping we build finely crafted landscapes that grow more beautiful with age. We work closely with our clients to design and install unique yet practical landscapes that incorporate your vision throughout the entire process. All of our landscapes are created to reduce maintenance by incorporating native plants, proper placement and selection of materials, and by working with existing site elements.
Spring and Fall often call for extra chores around the yard. Spring is the time to clean-up from the Winter and prepare for the Summer. Fallen branches and debris are picked up, shrubs, trees, and lawns are fertilized, mulch is touched up or replaced, ornamental grasses are cut back, perennials are divided and/or fertilized, and water features are cleaned among other things.
