Wally's performed a furnace Clean and Check service at the end of October on the furnace in our home. The service engineer seemed to do a very thorough job of cleaning and inspecting all parts and all functions for the furnace. He impressed me as very expert and knowledgeable. However, I did have an unexpected charge and they did not follow up on a safety repair that was discussed.
I was surprised at a $25 fee added for cleaning our humidifier. To be fair, the service engineer did ask me if I wanted him to do this when I showed him where everything was and I did say yes. The fee surprised

We turned our air on for the 1st time, worked great for one day, then not so much, it just was not cooling off in the house. Well we called Wally's, they said someone would stop by before noon the next day. Rick showed up diagnosed and fixed our issue fast!!!!! Extremely reasonable and professional!! Needed repairs to my furnace. It tripped out overnight, and even though I know a bit about repairing furnaces, I could not figure this issue out. I called Wally's in the morning and they were at my home (over an hour's drive) within 2 hours. Their technician, Brian, was very courteous and knowledgeable. He asked what I tried repairing myself, and within 10 minutes, had the issued resolved and the furnace working perfectly.
Best service I ever had from ANY home repair outfit, and at 70 years of age, I've used quite a few. Would definitely recommend without hesitation.

We just moved last week and our new home has a boiler, which is completely new to us having come from furnace heating in our past homes. Yesterday, the boiler started making a loud rattling sound--alarmingly loud, especially for a boiler newbie. A quick google search suggested that it might be the gas valve and that this could be dangerous, so I immediately shutoff the gas to the unit and then searched Yelp for a boiler service company.

Need a higher star category for Wally and his team. What a fantastic experience for an investment that one would expect to be stressful.
Wally came out to assess our home for heating a cold spot and to check our 22 year old furnace. He is really a great guy to work with. Took his time, answered all questions and not one ounce of pressure... just the facts.

I needed an HVAC clean and check as part of selling my home. Wally's technician showed up on time and completed all the work in a timely manner. Wally even stopped by to check in to make sure everything was going smoothly.

Wally and crew did a fantastic job installing my Carrier Infinity series furnace and AC units! Not only did they know the technical side of the job, but also acted as true consultants in informing my wife and I of the current savings in the form of rebates from carrier, Com Ed, and Nicor. All in all they saved us $1700.00! Highly recommend Wally's Heating and Air Conditioning.

I struggled for years with a 2 zone hydronic heating system. The air handlers were old and one was located in my attic which gave me anxiety during cold winter months. My downstairs unit was noisy (mounted to the flood of my family room) from vibration and to top it off the fan motors were located on the hot side of the heating coil which limited the boiler temperature and resulted in difficulty maintaining a comfortable temperature on sub zero days in the winter.

Wally & rick are extremely knowledgeable, I'm a general contractor and rehab homes. On a hot day in August, my furnace started running full tilt. I couldn't get my thermostat to stop it, the temp in the house was 95F! A high profile plumbing/heating/cooling outfit I called came, inspected and gave me an estimate for a new furnace of $4,000. I told him I had others to talk to before making a decision. We have used Wally's HVAC services for the past 20 some years. During that time, Wally has replaced compressors, motors, any other issues that required his prompt attention. He has upgraded our furnace to a 3 stage zoning system & installed an air purification device on the furnace. In addition, we own a 2 flat home and last winter, one night the furnace shut down in the 2nd floor apartment { no heat }. We called Wally's Heating to come and inspect our furnace. Wally not only inspected the furnace, but suggested some additional maintenance. Wally was able to repair our humidifier that we hadn't used in several years. Wally also noticed that we had in-floor heat pre-piped in our basement, but never had a boiler/water heater installed. We asked Wally for a quote - he returned with a very reasonable quote within a few days. A few days after that he was at our house installing the system, which we now love.
