Here's my story...
Had another company come out first because my furnace was turning on and off over and over. It was struggling to keep the temperature.
I don't like being an uninformed buyer, so, I did some research and found the flame sensor to be the most likely culprit of the issues.
They came to diagnose the issue. They came and told me my furnace was overheating, it's very old (it's about 10 years old), installed poorly, and won't last long / needs replacement for 5k to 20k (I didn't inquire much about pricing after given these crazy prices..

I was referred to WeatherWise by a friend (after getting blown off by a different company who didn’t show up and didn’t call either 😑). But I was extremely happy with WeatherWise’s communication team and service. From the first contact until the last one, Brandon and his team knocked it out of the park. We found ourselves needing a heating unit as well as A/C in a quick manner. This company is phenomenal. I had trouble finding a trustworthy company to repair or replace our furnace. Frank, the owner was just amazing, gave us a free estimate for the repair/replace, which -- in addition to his honest review of our options -- won our business. He wasn't just giving us a sales pitch for a new system. After we weighed the options, we decided to replace the furnace, and the two serviceman were clean and neat and kind and efficient. Also, Frank's son Brandon responded immediately every single time I reached out via cell or e-mail with a question. We are beyond 5 stars here!!

I scheduled WW to come out and complete a furnace inspection. Communication was good and they came out in a timely fashion. Based on the reviews I assumed the company would have performed better than I felt they did. They advertise a "Full Safety Inspection" but after talking to the tech on the phone I had to ask him specifically what completed since I never received any type of inspection report, I guess they were too busy putting a proposal together since they told me I "needed a new furnace," which was not true. They tried using the ever famous, if you have kids in the house

With winter on the way, I had these guys come out to look at the furnace in a house we purchased over the summer. Was so afraid that because of the age of the house we were looking at repairs or replacement. The technician cleaned & inspected it thoroughly and said our furnace is in great shape - nothing needed. WeatherWise did a fantastic job on installing our new furnace/AC & a warranty replacement water heater. Our previous furnace was in pretty bad shape and was reaching end of of life at around 19 years. We shopped around pretty thoroughly and received several bids for the new equipment and installation. Their pricing was very competitive and the longer labor warranty gave us some added peace of mind that they stand by their work.
Frank was extremely knowledgeable and was more than happy to explain everything in detail and made sure I knew all of the options available that would fit our budget

In process of selling my home. Had Weatherwise INC come and inspect my furnace. They stated/determined my heat exchanger was bad in minutes and I needed to replace my furnace $2,000. Had 2 other HVAC people inspect my furnace and it was fine. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone...EVER.. do yourself a favor and go with another company.

Me and my boyfriend had Frank J. Franco from WeatherWise come to our home after the first person we had hired had no idea what they were doing. WeatherWise was very prompt, came on time and exceeded our expectations. We needed for sure a gas valve but he also noticed another warranted part on our furnace had some damage and got that replaced for us as well under our furnace warranty so we wouldn't have future problems! They came out for the inspection last saturday and they got the parts they needed and had it all come in today and were able to come and fix the heat today! Talk about fast

Frank is a straight-up guy. He arrived on time and worked efficiently , explaining everything he was doing as he went along in a way that was easy to understand. He only did what was needed and did not try to pad the repair bill with unnecessary services. I would definitely use weatherwise for any future hvac needs. Crystal lake homeowner
