I wrote this email is to give everyone a warning for this company, HydroKleen808. I read other review from Yelp , and i found out other people has the same problems as i do. From other review as Brian R. said, Sam and his son did a good job of cleaning, but it is way over charged. I was charged $18000 for cleaning the 6 split systems and 2 condensers which is 4 years old. I was absolutely get convinced by him. Make sure do not make the same mistakes like i did. HydroKleen808 did a great job cleaning out my 2 units and performed professionally as you may have seen on their commercials. My units are working great! As summer is coming up, I'll be sitting happily at home instead of looking for places to cool off. A misunderstanding on my part has been cleared up and I will say that this is a great cleaning system!

After realizing my misunderstanding, I'll have to say that this is a great cleaning system for the split a/c. They work professionally and thoroughly and if you've seen their commercials, that's a good reflection of the operation. Sam is an upfront person and if you've got any questions about the service or pricing, don't hesitate to ask to clear your thoughts and understand the value of the service.

I contacted Hydrokleen for the cleaning of a single split AC unit. They communicated well and were professional. They appeared to be knowledgeable and opened up my system and showed me all the gunk that had accumulated on the fan and filters.
Hydrokleen's system is a pressure washer that sprays a mix of water and cleaning solution into your AC unit to clean out all the gunk. They temporarily attach a bag beneath your AC unit to collect the water. They also clean the outside unit.
The reason for the 2-star review is their price. They quoted me over $2k for a single unit because they said

Amazing service! Called Tuesday after 7p for a quote and they came at 830a the next morning! The price to clean is higher than others but the quality of service is top notch. I had a chemical cleaning done on my units 10 months ago and the units still smelled moldy and were obviously left in very dirty condition due to the entire unit not being serviced the way these guys do it! No more smells, very thorough and clean! Sam and Micah are so kind and show plenty Aloha! The 1 star reviews are not trustworthy! don't be fooled...they don't clean what you can't see...these guys clean it

Nice guy and great work but the one star is for the amount I was charged, and how upsetting it was to be convinced by him telling me he's not about the money. Read on if you like to know my full experience with HydroKleen808.

I invested a bunch in a quality split AC system and had it serviced annually for 5yrs. After seeing Sam’s commercial, I was curious about his cleaning process. One look at the condition of my investment , when he opened up one of the units, convinced me to give Hydrokleen the job. Without describing the complete process, I’ll say the results are amazing. We were very satisfied with Sam and son,their attention to detail is above standards. Educating us about what's the procedure to be done and how environmental healthy products they use . Our Ac was a utter disaster in mold. They brought it back like new and working better then before.

Sam was very honest, friendly, and respectful when I called him to ask what they do to clean AC's. He came out in the next couple of days and gave me an estimate for my 6 split units. When he did the inspection, I didn't realize how dirty my units were. Lance and Micah did a great job inside and outside cleaning everything. Once complete they had me inspect their work. I've had other company's come out to clean my units before but they never did cleaning like HydroKleen 808 can. I was very impressed and it was well worth the cost, my units looked brand new!

All I have to say is that they are straight up and tell it like it is. It's not cheap but if you want a thorough job, call them. Not only do you get a full complete job, you'll get great company. They are down to earth and funny. My ac is smelling better and way colder. Thanks hydrokleen 808. I paid alot of money but it was well worth the work and company you gave me.

I saw the commercial on KHON2 last week. I called and spoke to Sam the owner. He is very knowledgeable and what he said made sense. My air conditioner has been blowing super Duper hard lately. He and his team came out today and they were so nice and professional. They were early. Sam give me a quote before he did any work. I could not believe how much dirt there was in my unit. When they finished, they cleaned everything up perfectly. The unit now runs quieter and colder and looks like new. I have nothing but great things to say about Sam and his team. I would highly recommend HydroKleen808 to service your ac units. It's always a struggle to find a really good business that takes pride in their work. Brandon and Sam was recommended to us by a family friend and I'm grateful for their service.

The employees arrived on time and were very friendly. They explained how their machine worked and how it used cleaning solution to clean the ACs. They also gave an estimate on how long it might take.
They went to each room and made sure each AC unit was cleaned thoroughly by re-checking their work.
