To provide the highest quality asphalt and concrete services possible at the best price possible. In 1985, while a student at the University of Detroit, I started applying coatings to driveways and parking lots as a way of raising money for tuition and books. As my business grew, I pursued a master's degree in business administration and a law degree to help me better run this growing business.
We are now using the online software called Pictometry. Pictometry uses satellite imagery to help us get an accurate square footage and aerial views of your project/job location. They were exclusively government use only for the past 16 years, but since then they have branched out to construction contractors, insurance agents, utility companies, and more.

It took posting a negative review to get a response to our concerns about dump trucks driving down our residential road, one frequented by school children due to the presence of a school and a park that lacks a sidewalk. After receiving a return call and learning that the company contacted the Township instead of the County (this is a county-owned road), I have revised my review. I'm glad this is now resolved, but hope to see customer service improved--a simple phone call was all that was needed.

2 years ago I had Tom Burkes company remove/replace a 20 year old asphalt driveway. They also added an adjacent new area of drive so that I would have a circular driveway. Tom was very responsive to my initial call, gave me a decent quote and the work was done a couple of weeks later. The job was done beautifully although the new area was cut a bit narrow but worked. As advised, I had the driveway seal coated this summer. It is quite obvious that The sealcoat contractor is just that - a sub-contractor. He was very rude and pushy to schedule the work. If I could give this company zero stars, I would. I contacted T Burke's Asphalt and Concrete in June 2021 for an estimate on replacing my driveway. The salesperson came out and provided a quote, which we accepted. The salesperson immediately returned to our home to pound a T Burke's sign into our neighbor's lawn, which I promptly removed.

Disappointing. I didn't go for the cheapest bid or the most expensive and 600 bucks later I am ultimately disappointed. It just doesn't look that great---rough edges, huge squiggles galore, cracks not all the way filled, black stuff on my lawn. I will be looking for a different company next time around.

We paid $26,000 for a new driveway last September. Within a month the driveway started to crumble. Mr. Burke is a very nice man and has promised to fix the issues, however it is June and the driveway still has not been repaired. I have called the office and Mr. Burke but nothing has been resolved. Below are a couple of the photos, but their are so many more spots where the asphalt is crumbling.

I’ve just been through the first winter with my new driveway from T. Burke and I could not be more pleased. I needed the asphalt pad at the garage replaced and my dirt driveway raised above grade. Tom Burke and I decided on new asphalt replacing the existing pad and then asphalt milling for the driveway. The new asphalt pad needed to have a new grade direction to take the water away from the house. OMG, They do great work!! I have had so many people tell me the asphalt is commercial grade even though it is a residential job. I have a very long driveway ( one quarter of a mile) and I have contracted with Tom at T.Burke Asphalt to now do entire driveway. His workers are professional and hardworking. I can't say enough about the high quality job that I have received. I also had the older part of my driveway seal coated and again they did an awesome job. They first edged the grass, brushed and blew the driveway clean and put on a premium grade of seal coat. This looks so great.

We had a removal of old asphalt with putting in new asphalt on our long driveway . I got bids from several companies, and T. Burke's had the best combination of a good price with a 3 inch (two layers of 2" compacted to 3" total) layer of new asphalt.
It went very well, crews came when they said they would, first to pulverize the existing asphalt and then grade and add stone where needed. I had asked for a specific date to do the hot asphalt since we would be on vacation and didn't have to worry about not driving on the driveway. We hav several sprinkler heads pretty close to

We contacted T. Burke Asphalt and Concrete about our very large residential driveway project. We live out in the country, and had a very old paved driveway. Tom Burke came out himself to look over the site and offer us options. We decided to go with Recycled Asphalt Product, which saved us a TON of money. That's not where the story ends! We had a crumbling, broke up asphalt drive way that needed to be removed and replaced. We decided to replace the drive with crushed stone. We got an estimate and scheduled our old drive be removed and replaced by Burke's. They did a beautiful job! The man that did the work was like a perfectionist. I would use this company again and will recommend them to anyone that ask.
