AVOID: They overcharge for ruining your carpet
Notice that all their good reviews are quite old. Maybe new owners, because my experience was horrible.
DISHONEST: Tried to charge me an extra $50 after I had negotiated a price.
UNRELIABLE: Came 2 hrs early ("nothing else to do, we want to get done early and go home"). I hadn't finished moving furniture, and they rushed me (but wouldn't help, except for more $$).
CARPET DESTROYERS: Didn't do spot removal first, but dumped 2 bottles of it into the machine. Result was to dissolve all dirt into the carpet so it couldn't

I have been using Bakers Chem Dry since 2007. I call on them yearly to clean all my carpets to keep them like new. They do an amazing job. There always on time and don’t rush to get the job done. We had a great experience with Baker's Chem Dry for carpet cleaning. They cleaned our wall to wall synthetic carpet and our wall to wall pure wool carpet. They treated stains first; did a wonderful job cleaning; and went back over some high traffic areas. Andy and Michael were punctual, polite, hard working, knowledgeable, careful. And given this time of CoVid, they wore masks the entire time.

I would highly recommend using Baker's Chem-Dry. Tracy was incredibly accommodating with scheduling, and Dan did a thorough job cleaning old, ratty carpets in our apartment. They look so much better now. He was communicative about his arrival time and super friendly. I appreciate their commitment to high level customer service, and will definitely be booking again.

Dan was on time, professional and courteous. Knew what he was doing, took an hour and a half, and the carpets look great. That's the good part. The bad is that it cost $334 for basically 2 rooms (425 sq ft). Plus they needed to use my hot water, like three 5 gallon buckets worth and used my toilet to dump the dirty water. That is highway robbery and a lousy deal. I cannot use Chem-dry ever again for that cost. If it wasn't for a red wine stain that needed to be dealt with, I would have refused. Carpets look great; outrageous cost. Never again.

My first time using Baker's chem dry for carpet cleaning. We asked for a deep clean service. They were very responsive through the integrated messaging within yelp. They suggested I give them a call and scheduled me promptly. The cleaner arrived on time and did an excellent job. We had very deep stains for high traffic areas and they removed it. We had a very large coffee stain in the living room as well -- they were able to get 80% of it. Might call them back to see if they can get the rest.

Been a client of this company for 14 years and they never let me down. The techs who come to haul their gear up my 33 stairs are amazing, detailed & courteous. My wall to wall carpets live with kitties who have hair ball attacks - hey that's what cats do. Baker's Chem-Dry has taught me over the years, soak it up but don't try to get it out. So I learned and now when they come to do their magic, voila my carpets are like new. They have an amazing spray that actually soaks up the stains so well. I love this firm!

Professional, courteous, and efficient. Baker's Chem-Dry arrived for the appointment (Sept 13, 2017) precisely as requested. Service was impressive -- doing the carpeting in my apartment, with extra attention to spots/stains and previous attempts to clean myself with a "Spot Bot".
Additionally, had a carpet runner cleaned. Total time was just about 1 hour..!

Aaron, the technician who came to the house to clean the carpets, was very professional and did a great job, removing stains that others had not been able to. My original appointment was for 2 weeks after I initially called, but Dan, the scheduler contacted me when he had a cancellation and was able to fit me in the same week instead. The price was fair and I was most satisfied with my whole experience with this company.

I learned about Baker's Chem-Dry from a Groupon that I purchased. I chose Baker's based on all the fantastic reviews I read on Yelp (while most other cleaners had questionable ratings, at best).
Scheduling was easy and simple with just a quick phone call.
Baker's came and cleaned two of my area rugs-the second one for the same price as the Groupon!
Darold was the representative who came to my house. He was very friendly, quick to explain the process, and even helped with a small stain I had on my couch - no extra cost!

I found Baker's Chem-Dry on Groupon, and I was really happy with the results! Derald came to our house and was really friendly. He really seemed to care about the quality of his work. Every corner of the apartment was super clean! We had a problem area (since I have cats), and he took care of it. He made suggestions for proper treatments, and was super helpful. My apartment is now clean and all the stains are gone. Thanks Derald!

It was awful service. Bought on groupon and tried to call several times to make and appt. and no one ever called back. Finally after they did and booked a month in advance they called the day of and cancelled as they couldn't provide service in my area due to road conditions which is not correct as fire trucks are able to come through area all the time. Worst customer service ever!

These guys are awesome! I purchased a deal for a certain square footage on Living Social and when I called to make the appt I asked if they could go above that sq footage and just charge me the difference which of course they were more than happy to. I scheduled my appt and got a relatively close appt, they were running late the day of the appt and called me to let me know.
