John W. Anderson has been working and playing with glass for almost 30 years. He has a Master of Fine Arts in glass and has studied at the well known Pilchuk Glass School in Washington state. All types of glass fascinate him, and he has produced a wide range of artwork in stained, etched, cast, fused and blown glass.

Sheryl Lanier has been creating glass works with John off and on for most of those 30 years. His enthusiasm for glass caused her to change careers from Forest Service Naturalist to artist, and she hasn't looked back. Though currently working mainly in glass with John, she has also had a long career as a sculptor.
Services
We specialize in custom designs for businesses and homes using styles that compliment the environment, whether it is contemporary or traditional, architectural or natural. Our Stained Glass designs incorporate a wide variety of colors, textures, bevels, jewels, etches, and custom fabricated glass. These are built using either lead came or the copper foil method, which can be textured and colored for a wide range of looks.
There are several ways to etch glass. The glass to be sandblasted is first covered with a paper resist. The design is transferred to this and cut with an exacto blade. The areas to be sandblasted are removed, and the clear areas remain masked. Designs and techniques vary according to the needs of the client, such as privacy or lighting, and, of course, cost.
We work with decorators, architects, and clients to produce custom pieces in Fused glass. Glass tiles can be incorporated anywhere ceramic tiles are used. Other projects include large wall sculptures, light fixtures, table tops, room dividers, donor recognition walls, virtually anything we and you can imagine.
