He was a sheet metal mechanic by trade who ran an informal business making, installing and repairing commercial kitchen equipment in bars, restaurants, and pizza parlors.I swore I would never do that kind of work, so after high school I enrolled in Temple University and graduated four years later with a degree in radio communications and journalism.
But I found that I really didn't like the broadcasting business and I really missed working the kitchen jobs so it was back to weekends with my dad while I figured things out. By chance, I heard of a residential kitchen design showroom that was looking to add an employee. I interviewed for the job, was hired the next day and haven't looked back since.

In addition to producing countertops, my fabrication shop also manufactures AWI grade custom millwork for reception desks, nurse's stations, computer desks, restaurant take-out counters and bank teller stations to name just a few. I will provide cost proposals during the bidding process and computer generated shop drawings and spec sheets for architectural submittals.
