David started in the pool business at the age of 17 working for a local pool company. There he learned all aspects of the pool industry and continued as an employee for 6 1/2 years. After the Pest control company was in full swing, he and Christina opened Kristi's Pool Service.
Since its inception in 1999, the Business has grown into a full time job requiring the assistance of 5 employees and 6 service trucks including the addition of a box truck in 2007 used solely for remodeling and repair.We take great pride in the service we provide for all of our customers. Pool Resurfacing is the process of removing any of the old loose finish and installing a new finish on the pools entire inner surface for a like new look. There are many different types of finishes out there but the most common is the "Exposed Aggregate". This consists of aggregate rock mixed in a cementitious product applied to the walls and floor of your pool.
The pump and filtration system is a very important component of your pools Hydraulic system. Without the properly sized pump and filter, taking care of your pool can seem like more of a chore than an enjoyment. There are dozens of types of pumps and filters available on the market today. Knowing which ones are right for your pool is a job for a knowledgeable pool professional.
Salt systems have become more desireable and cost effiecient over the last 10 to 15 years. More and more pools are getting equiped with them every day. Salt system scan be added to a pool at anytime during its life. A computer mounted on the wall and a cell installed inline on the return plumbing converts salt with a low voltage charge to chlorine.
Pool Automation has given us greater control over the workings and functionality of our pool. We can now push a single button and have our spa, heater, spa light and patio lights come on at our command. We can call our spa on the way home from work and tell it to turn on and be at the right temperature when we arrive.
Proper chemistry and pool maintenance can help prolong the beauty and Integrity of your pool and pool equipment. Just because a Pool is Blue does not mean that is a healthy pool. I can't tell you how many times I have heard a customer say " All I've ever had to do is add some acid and chlorine to the pool every week and it stays blue".

Dave walked us through all the steps involving resurfacing our pool. He gave us recommendations for the tile and resurface color. Although behind schedule a few weeks due to impact of Covid, once work was started they were very prompt and completed the job before the necessary deadline. We had family coming to town and having the pool ready was a priority. We are very pleased with the results. The pool is beautiful.

DO NOT USE! AWEFUL! Won’t stand behind work whatsoever!! They just did a full remodel and equipment replacement on my elderly parents pool. Totally took advantage of them! The equipment has never worked right and the pool decking has immediately started peeling up everywhere. With repeated polite requests to address the problems and provide a solution, they ignored them for weeks and would never even come by to look at faulty work. When he finally contacted back he was so rude and condescending! Now they have to pay someone else to remedy their faulty work -BEWARE! ! If Dave will steal my 75

I didn't end up using this company and I am sure that the employees do a fine job. I can however speak to the fact that the owner Dave was so rude and dismissive on the phone I didn't even use this company. I have a neighbor that uses the service so I figured I would give them the business. When I explained that one of his buddies cleaned my neighbors pool he made sure to let me know "I am the owner of this company, I don't have buddies, I have employees". After a couple of short exchanges he tried to set up a service call, which I told him I'll find someone else, hung up. I feel bad for his employees

Mr David Mills, and each member of your demo, prep, resurface, cleanup crews... we owe you a GREAT BIG THANK YOU! Our 35' x 17.5' inground pool had been slowly deteriorating for years prior to our buying it. We've been in this home for a year and half. We & previous owner knew the pool would need resurfacing (BADLY) at some future point; cost of which was 'split' prior to closing. Anyway, this past April/May we decided to get it done. We bought a old house with a pool that had alot of issues. It needed to be resurfaced and the pump and filter needed work. It was basically a pond because it hadn't worked in years..we called countless pool companies to request quotes for a remodel only for them all to say that couldn't take on the job and would refer me to someone else. I finally found Kristi's Pool service and when Dave came to give me a quote he was confident that he could get our pool fixed and resurfaced. It only took about 2 weeks to go from a nasty green pond pool to the beautiful blue pool I've always dreamed of. Thank

Kristi's Pool Service did an exceptional job resurfacing our pool. They have a very talented staff who have worked in the pool industry for many years. I was very impressed with their attention to detail and the quality of their work. We had a very old pool (1977) that was previously resurfaced (2001) with fiberglass. They removed all the old fiberglass surface and cut out the perimeter concrete around the pool to add new concrete and give the pool an up to date cantilever edge. Severely disappointed because services looked great on paper, but when we called in to get a quote all we got was disappointment. We called in to a quote and the man who answers the phone was extremely rude and disrespectful. The experience I've had so far makes me want to pay someone more money to get better customer service especially someone who would be coming to my home each week. Big let down now I know why they didn't have any reviews on here yet. Don't waste your time!
