So happy to have found U Plant Landscape design! We recently moved into a new house, and I spent a good part of the summer trying to come up with a design plan for some tricky beds around the house. I spent needless time, energy, and cash on plants that did not work for the soil conditions and sun/shade requirements. Sandy to the rescue. She developed a realistic plan, complete with a mix of plants and foliage that gives interest all year long AND discourages the local deer herd from nibbling my new plants. She gave expert tips for planting, and where and how to acquire the plants she recommended

I’ve thought long and hard about posting a negative review, because I usually don’t post reviews for anything, let alone negative ones. I feel a real duty to warn here, however. We are fairly experienced gardeners but we turned to Sandy because we have a tough situation with sandy soil and pretty heavy shade around our patio. We wanted something to lend a nice backdrop, something natural-looking. We felt we weren’t listened to, and what was suggested was too formal for what we wanted. Sandy was beyond wonderful to work with. She listened to what I wanted my space to look like, and really came through with an amazing layout. I don’t know anything about plants/flowers, so a listing of what would work there and what to buy was exactly what I needed, she even helped direct me to local nurseries that typically carried what she had listed for me. She did include exact steps of what to do, how to plant them, and how to maintain them, which was perfect. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a little bit of help to get a wonderful landscape.

Critical: Punctuality, Quality
We were expecting a step-by-step “how to” instructions and all we received is a picture with the listing of what plants to buy. Took far longer than promised for that. As a very honest beginner in landscaping, we asked for step by step “baby instructions”. Maybe expected too much? Not worth the money.
