We are extremely happy that we decided to choose The Yard Stylist for our backyard project. This is our forever home and wanted the same exact travertine and stone from the water feature used for the new patios, borders, and firepit. Due to the housing boom, there were delays with our materials but that currently is a widespread issue. The Yard Stylist made the process very easy and I appreciate that they were tidy. We highly recommend their service.

It's been several years since Jamie and his team did our backyard. I sit out here everyday just in awe of how beautiful it is, how well it was done, how long the artificial grass has lasted, the travertine, the plants. Jamie is very nice and we liked the design however the workmanship was shoddy at best. (A crew comes out to install, not Jamie and their work was terrible.) Our water system was installed incorrectly. Months later, we were having problems with pressure, leaks, pipes not run properly. Jamie did come back and attempt to fix but when we asked to have an additional item added, he said he would get back with a price then (as usual), I had to text and follow up to which he responded they were months booked out. Very much seemed they didn't want to come out and do any more work at our house. Our system

The yard stylists arrived at our house and barely asked us any questions. Seriously, there was little conversation to be had. They seemed like they were in a hurry and barely even said goodbye on their way out. They never asked us about our budget or what we were looking for. Instead they just showed us some pictures on their phones of random yards and fire pits. They ended up sending us an estimate and never followed up with us. I could not hit “decline” fast enough.

We worked with Jamie and Julie on our backyard design for our new build. We had multiple estimates and The Yard Stylist provided us with a competitive quote and the most confidence in the quality we would be getting. We had a very specific design and materials in mind and they were so accommodating. We got great advice on shrubs and trees as far as care and maintenance. If I could give zero stars, I would. Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had with any company. Treated us terribly, work was awful, misquoted square footage and price and then blamed us, took much longer than promised, owner was argumentative and borderline verbally abusive in interactions. Absolutely incompetent women run this company! I scheduled a consultation and instead of ringing my doorbell or knocking on my door they drive by,think no one is home, and leave! I took time out of my day to meet with them. They have no consideration for their customers. Then instead of apologizing like a normal human, she starts arguing with me! I have no clue how this company is in business. Do yourself a favor and find a different landscaping company!

STAY AWAY! I mean literally run from this house of horrors. I can say this was one of the worst experiences with a contractor I've had. We spent hours going over what we wanted done for our yard. We were provided a couple estimates with 50% down and 50% on completion. When we went to sign the contract we were presented with 75% down. and 25% on completion. When I asked them about it I was told they did not want to do the project anymore. Again. RUN!

We used them for two jobs and both weren't completed 100%. Higher prices would suggest a higher level of customer service and better attention to detail. But what we got was the first job wasn't completed and second job was messy at completion and not completed 100%.
We received a small credit on the second job for work not completed but still feel less than satisfied. We have since hired another contractor to finish the work.

We recently contacted this company to get an estimate on a new landscaping job at a new house we are building. We emailed back and forth and set up an appointment at our new home with a date and time and thought we had it all set up. They never called or showed up for the appointment and we have not been contacted since. We were very disappointed that a company would treat a potential customer like this and we will not recommend or ever use this company again.

Let me start out by saying if you are looking to pay a premium price for landscaping and get less than average work done this is the company for you. Nevermind what you are quoted they will find a way to add charge on for you. Here are some examples of what I experienced. instead of using a trencher to dig a trench for irrigation they use a jackhammer, instead of cutting out pre-existing pvc they go right on top of it ( I hope I don't step there I will break the line), instead of burying your irrigation about a foot down they will go around 3 inch's. In addition if they can't get

Julie's communication is first class and they even use an automated system for emails, text messages, etc. which are actually great! She stayed on me as far as scheduling a visit and we made it work. Her and her husband, Jamie, both visited our home on a Sunday which my wife and I very much appreciated. The estimate came in significantly higher than our discussed budget, in which Julie and Jamie were able to widdle down, but we couldn't get to our budgeted (or close to it) number - which I appreciate them trying to do. Thus, I can't speak to their actual service and/or end result

The Yard Stylist completed our back yard install last year in our new home. We were extremely happy with Jamie at The Yard Stylist. I've already referred him to a co worker who he completed a beautiful installation for last month. Pricing was fair. We chose everything that was installed and everything was completed quickly. Great job all around.
