Located in Kenosha, WI, Bainbuilt was established in 2005. Christopher Bain is the founder of Bainbuilt Homes. Continuing in the family business of construction, Christopher focused exclusively on the new-construction aspect of home building. Bainbuilt Homes specializes in customizing homes for each client.
Chris, it's a little hard to put into words how much working with you has been, you have made it possible for us to live a life long dream. I am sorry to say that Bainbuilt gets 1 star from me.
My daughter & husband have been working with Bainbuilt from fall 2017-spring of 2018. They have had several meetings and were on track to build the first thing in Spring 2018. They received their blueprints and were waiting on the final costs.
After waiting for phone calls which never seemed to happen my daughter contacted Mr. Bain to see what was going on and he apologized and said he would call on Friday for sure. Friday came and went with no phone call so I the father decided to see if I could find out what the problem was. I called Mr

My family suffered through a lot of stress with Bainbuilt! He often said things that were untrue. He purposefully delayed things out of spite and aggravation caused by mistakes of his own doing! There is NO ONE I would recommend this builder to... so please heed this warning and take this review to heart... find another builder and spare yourself the grief of this process with an unprofessional like this. No exaggeration here! It shouldn't be that difficult finding a builder that will certainly take care of your needs better than Bainbuilt! Best wishes, and I hope this helps.

We build with this one man operation thinking he can do it.
When the building started things start to go wrong , he did not communicate well with the subcontractor.
He was offended when we start to lose trust in him.
He thinks he have the upper hand by delaying the process forgotten his reputation on the line. It was a nightmare, he didn't try to make it better , too many empty promises.

Word of advice! Before you build, go to the homes of those who've built already and ask plenty of questions before signing with this builder. Be careful what you are getting yourself into.
Too many empty promises, many delays, too long of a process compared to other builders, not fully clear on extra charges, disorganized, not trustworthy, and basically a regrettable venture building my home with this builder. It's sad to say this because it started off well and ended very badly!!!
