Bobby Schlaeffer and his team did excellent work at my building in Montclair. they removed, repaired, and restored a masonry and brick sidewalk like it was brand new. They were on-site early, cleaned up after themselves, and got the job done in two-and-a-half days. Would highly recommend.

I got three quotes... Bobby's quote was in the middle. The low quote wanted to rip out entire floor, use 4" new concrete. I was skeptical... especially after reading that 6" is preferred for garage floors.
Bobby suggested "at least" 6", and only repair the damaged section... no need to touch the other parts... since it's in excellent condition otherwise.
I agreed, and also, based on his reviews... chose him.
Well... he did not disappoint, as you can see in the before and after images. He brings a high-level of knowledge and craftsmanship. He ensured there is proper drainage by creating a front

Bobby Schlaefer has now done two jobs for me. His work is flawless. He was able to address problems that no one else could figure out, preserving the original look of the masonry on our 100 year old house. His team does outstanding work, neat and precise. I feel lucky to have found him and can't imagine calling anyone else. Don't hesitate to call if you need masonry work done of the highest caliber.

Working with Bobby was a true pleasure. I hired Bobby to pour a new concrete floor in my basement. This was a very difficult job because there was limited access. Bobby was great. I called him on a Tuesday and he got the job done the next morning. He and his co-workers were prompt and diligent. They really took care of the job and were straight up with me from the start. Awesome work. I will definitely be using Schlaefer Masonry in the future!

I first worked with Bobby in 2016 when I first moved to Glen Ridge. He did a fantastic job on a brick wall beside my house, fixing the water problems we had there at the same time.
Since then, I've hired him for a few other projects. He is the best Mason in town, and is honest about his prices. He even puts up with me talking his ear off. Great guy.

Bobby Schlaefer and his crew of masons are simply the best around. I had bluestone patios that all needed maintenance, repair, or replacement. Bobby did it all to perfection. They were always on time and willing to do any job needed. Bobby also connected me with carpenters for related work that were also excellent. Bobby is the best because he really understands stone work and all his materials. I highly recommend him. He's always in high demand, so if you can get him - take him. You'll be happy you did.
