Jim did a great job for us. He was able to come out within a few hours of my call which was fantastic. He replaced my busted spring and then adjusted the door and opener as part of the service. We had our broken spring replaced for $256. The repair person noticed our cables had a little fraying and said we should also replace them so we don't damage the garage door. Jim said it would normally be $160 but he'd do it for $128. For that price I was thinking it must be something complicated but since he said it needed to be done I figured we'd better do it. Turns out it's just 2 pieces of cable. I called apple valley garage door after they left and they said it they would have charged $20 to replace the 2 cables ($190 for the springs).
