The 60,000 square foot Academic and Performance Center (APC) at Liberty University is part of a new construction boom on the campus.
The 3-story APC will house state-of-the-art athletic training facilities alongside study spaces. Our work on the project includes the hot rubberized asphalt waterproofing under the exposed walkways, up the walls, under the grass, and under the building's covered walkways. Commercial waterproofing systems are designed to protect sub-grade structures from the harmful effects of water infiltration, which causes structural deterioration and damage. Each system is engineered to waterproof specific project conditions. In our waterproofing assemblies, hot rubberized asphalt (HRA) provides a monolithic membrane.

I am the facility manager for Western Branch Diesel and have used both the Richmond and Norfolk International Roofing locations for projects. For our headquarters location in Portsmouth, International Roofing completed a full re-roof project. Our roof was standing seam steel and had developed numerous leaks. The building is about 40 years old and it had been coated a number of years ago. International Roofing suggested using a grooved rigid insulation product with a membrane mechanically attached on top to complete sealing the roof. After a year we have had no leaks and have been very happy with
