Steve, has over 40 years of tree care experience, getting his start at young working for his father in the business. At Torpy Tree Service we have used the latest techniques and equipment to maintain the health and beauty of trees and plants, and we take pride in giving our customers the best service possible.
The roots from the tree usually extend well below and beyond the stump or its' initial roodt flare, therefore attempting to grind out all of these roots is neither practical nor economical. Grinding the tree stump down to the standard depth of 6-8 below grade by machine is the best way to get rid of unwanted stumps and is usually satisfactory for replanting grass, flowers, ground covers or most other applications.
Sometimes a Tree's problems are so advanced that it can't be preserved! In the event that a Tree is to be removed whether it be dead, hazardous, or in a bad location we use the proper equipment and techniques required to do the job. The often dangerous and technical work of taking down Trees requires experience to eliminate safety and liability concerns.
We were called into remove this Hazardous Tree that was dead for a considerable period of time and neglected on an abandoned property until it went over on the unlucky homeowners house next door! She said she had called into the city on several occasions to report this dangerous issue several times to no avail!

One of the few actual arborist in town that can identify, diagnose and treat any of your trees illnesses. They have the right equipment and knowledge to get the job done right without sacrificing your yard or home. I have used Torpy Tree Service a few times and can not recommend them enough!
