The Restore, Repair, Renew program is a new initiative of the City of Philadelphia and Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority (PRA) to help Philadelphia homeowners access low-interest loans to invest in their properties. Fantastic service! Answered all my calls, even out of the office or during off-hours to get a very important job done. The staff is nothing but courteous and professional and knowledgeable. They set up a big job for me and got all the necessary permits and were prompt, clean, kind and solved some extra problems for me on top of what I initially needed. Initially I was excited about the possibilities of having this company to come in and fix some of the problems in my bathroom. Unfortunately more than half of the job had to be done three times. The floor had to be put down twice. The shower lining had to be installed twice. The sink was so slow to drain that eventually it stopped draining all together and the culprit may have been a rag that was left over in the pipe. Needless to say I would never hire these people to do any work for me. I could say much more but then this post would be extremely long.

Miles and his crew installed a new swear and water connection in my house. I had some issues the next day and they were incredibly responsive and out the next day (a Saturday) to fix the issue. When I had more (unrelated) flooding a few months later, they were out the next day again. Very responsive, very professional, good work.

Jack Edmondson Plumbing was a great company to work with! I called for a free estimate for a problem with sewage in my basement, and he came out the same day. He took the time to explain the problem, my options for repair, estimated time frame and follow up. I felt comfortable that he was honest and upfront about my repair charges. The actual work was done just 4 days later, and the repair men were timely, efficient, and solved the problem right away. The job was big and my concern was high, but I was constantly reassured that they had done this type of work before and could handle everything easily

I have known Jack Edmondson for 15 years since I came to this community. He has serviced both my business and my home. We actually have him listed on our non profit website as a go to local business because he's such a decent man and I trust him so much to offer me good sound advice and not take advantage of the fact that, let's face it, most of us do not understand plumbing. I've given his guys the keys to my house to fix things when I couldn't be there and never worried for a second that things would be done and in order when I got back.

I do concur with the previous review from "A Google User." top-notch on-site work with caring and attentive service from the office. our oil-to-gas heating conversion was handled expertly and with respect for all of our questions and concerns. none of the pandering or condescension that i have endured in dealing with some contractors. and while we only solicited one other bid on the job for a high-efficiency heater installation, jack came in 40% lower (and with much more experience in the field). i couldn't recommend this family-run operation any more highly.
