I have been doing excavation since I was 8 years old, working with both my grandfather and father, who have since passed. With 40 years of experience under my belt, and loving what I do, I strive to keep our simple goal "Looking after the best interests of our customers". Beyond our years of vast experience, beyond project logistics, and beyond our technical expertise, our clients consider us partners.
We are a full service repair service where we identify sewer problems, and repairing and replacing sewer pipes. We work with homeowners and businesses to pinpoint problems and develop a plan to fix or clear drain and sewer lines. The biggest drain on a property is the main sewer line. All drainpipes from a property flow to the main sewer lines.

I interviewed several excavators and Ted was an easy first choice. He removed the concrete sidewalk in front our house, excavated and spread gravel for the new sidewalk, and excavated in the back yard to build a retaining wall between our yard and the neighbor's yard. The backyard job was difficult, with limited access, and required extreme precision. The work was done as scheduled, and the excavation was done quickly within a matter of days.

Ted helped us with our front yard and did an excellent job. He helped us clear the land and prep it for landscaping. He and Robin were great to work with. They helped us with a backyard project years ago so we knew we could expect good service and were not disappointed.

Ted did an amazing job of repairing our culvert bridge which had been eroding badly. He also dug out and restored a channel in our creek bed. For no extra charge he uncoved a leaking water line in our barnyard. His work was excellent. We couldn't be happier!

Ted exceeded our expectations. We hired Ted to create a flat backyard and RV parking on our sloped property. Watching him excavate and move boulders with his equipment was like watching someone use a bionic arm to perform surgery. He removed our existing boulder wall, moved tons of dirt, and rebuilt the wall better than before, with little room for him to maneuver his equipment. We also had Ted dig trenches and remove part of our concrete foundation with great care to not damage the rest. I would not recommend anyone to hire this company! They did a job for us and (in my opinion) they totally ripped us off. We had to hire an attorney to deal with him! We had a contract for him to remove fill dirt and put down erosion control, and he did not seem to follow the contract on many levels. We had to hire someone else to correct what they did because we continued to have issues. Consultants told us that he left 3-4 feet of dirt that was all supposed to have been removed down to native and that he put the erosion materiel the wrong way on the hill. After getting estimates from other contractors, I came across Ted Rudiger Excavation. He was prompt in getting back to me and was out to look at our septic line problem the next day. He was knowledge and easy to talk with. He suggested an approach that would save us money and work better. Ted's team installed a drainage system for my backyard. I had added an addition that needed connecting, needed my crawlspace low-point drain moved and connected and added a french drain too. They did a great job and it all drains very well now! They even went above and beyond and fixed my two broken fence posts. Overall I was very pleased with the results!
