K2GC is a general contracting firm that provides Easy Bay homeowners with home remodeling services, repairs, maintenance programs, kitchen and bathroom design, water and fire damage restoration, and emergency repairs and tarping. Owner Kenneth (Kenny) Turnage II has been in the construction industry for more than 25 years.

My dad and uncle had begun working for my grandfather when they were about my age.
The foundation of a smooth home remodel starts with a solid plan. This plan will include, design, budget, planning and communication. The first step in the process is design and function. One of the biggest hurdles is making sure the renovation is esthetically pleasing and looks natural to the home.
When beginning a kitchen or bath remodel, the first question to ask is why? Your answer may be to update style, function or both. The "why" makes a difference for the starting point of your design. One of the best ways to start your kitchen/bath design is to take a look at the multiple trade publications available in the market.

Got 4 estimates for work in a remodel. Ken came out and gave us a very competitive bid. Promised work would be done in two weeks and they delivered. Workers were excellent in their dedication to the job, cleaned up the construction mess and always were punctual in arriving. If I could give 6 stars I would.

Really wanted to like this business. Kenny came out last summer to look at some water damage in our ceiling. While he was here we had another contractor looking at some siding by our kitchen window and he discovered that we had massive wood rot and mold around the frame and that the work was outside of his expertise.
We called Kenny back that same day and he came back and gave us some info. He suggested that we called our insurance company. They initially denied us, but Kenny knew the adjuster for our area and they approved us. Kenny was a such a nice guy to do this. He really didn't have

After getting a few bids from other contractors that I wasn't happy with, I called K2GC and Ken came over and gave me an estimate. He was very professional and caring and answered all my questions. I hired K2GC for the job, they worked with my budget and were transparent every step of the way. The crew did an excellent job, I couldn't be more pleased. I 100% recommend K2GC.

I don't know why I am just reviewing them now, but this is the third time I have used Ken Turnage and his company. The back of his business card states "Changing Peoples Opinion of Contractors One Customer at a Time" rings true.
Good communication skills and great workmanship. They start on time, don't play loud music, and end on time. They clean up after each day.
I own a business and the "power" of a phone call, text or email to update one of what is going on is lost in today's world. They come through.
I would highly recommend this company.

I can honestly tell you that I received the worst customer experience of my life. Took almost two years to complete a 4 week project a simple sag in the roof. The excuses started then refused to return calls or emails. I finally had to contact the Contractors Lic Board and file a complaint after they started my project and did not return for 5 months. Restarted the project after being threatened by the board that they would've cited for Abandonment. They restarted and drug it out for months. Didn't feel comfortable with the quality of the work to date and hired an independent Roofing

We hired K2GC General Contractor out of Antioch, CA, to do a complete renovation of our master shower, which included installing a new shower pan and fixtures, new cultured marble walls and reinstalling our seamless glass shower doors. They provided a good and fair price and exemplary workmanship and customer service.

Extremely disappointed. Ken came to my house to do an estimate and said it would be emailed to me the following week. I was impressed by his professionalism at the time. Two weeks later I called to follow up, since nothing was received. I was told they were down an estimator and that I'd have it in the few days. To date, I never received an estimate as promised. This all happened about 2 months ago. Needless to say I've gone with a different contractor for my renovations. I'm late posting this review, but thought it might be helpful to someone who is looking for a contractor

We scheduled an appointment to meet with "Donover"
(hindsight, red flag. Donover is not a name)
from K2gc at our property in Antioch.
He was unavailable to come until the following Tuesday (5 days later).
But we went ahead and made the appointment since they have excellent Yelp reviews and we wanted a quality contractor.
Tuesday arrives, we drive from our home in Sacramento, to our property in Antioch. 20 minutes after the appointment and no sign of Donover and no call from him, I give him a call.
He says "ohhhh. Um. Im still in a meeting"

I had water damage in my home that caused a complete remodel of my kitchen and lots of work in the dinning room as well as replacement and sanding of hardwood floors. Everyone down the line from Kenny, to Bob, Jim, Matt, and all the staff saved my sanity. It is difficult to be displaced while your "castle" is being repaired. The entire team is professional, friendly and highly capable of getting your home back to perfect! Thanks everyone! I don't even know where to start because I was so overly impressed by this company! Kenny came out to give me a quote on a kitchen remodel. He was very professional, honest and really took time to help me figure out where we could cut costs to help stay within our budget. I am so thankful I chose this company to do our remodel.
I don't think I have ever seen a cleaner demolition process! LOL. They completely seal the area with large plastic sheets and zipper the room off to help keep the dust down. At the end of every day, they clean up and its like they were not there
