Services
Anderson Insulation was founded by Eric R. Anderson after returning home from World War II. After the war, insulation was being slowly introduced into the housing market, and Eric saw the great need for the use of insulation to offset the cost of electric heat. He started off with two trucks, a loading dock and a 2,000 square foot warehouse on Temple Street in Abington.
Anderson insulation is one of the few insulation companies that can handle all of your insulation needs, including spray foam, blown-in cellulose, blown-in fiberglass and fiberglass batt. Our installers are specialized for each insulation type, and the trucks are outfitted to handle each specific task.
Maintaining the largest fleet of spray foam-dedicated trucks in the Northeast, Anderson Insulation is your regional spray foam powerhouse. Spray foam's high R-value and built-in air sealing qualities make it a top pick for new construction and remodeling work. Anderson deals in both closed-cell and open-cell spray foam to make sure we offer the best products to suit your individual project.
Anderson Insulation is New England's expert when it comes to cellulose installation. Following the energy crisis of the 1970s, Anderson Insulation started using cellulose Nu-Wool insulation to insulate homes that previously had no insulation to save homeowners and companies money for heating and cooling costs.
As an Owens CorningTM Certified Energy Expert, Anderson Insulation is able to provide customers with an outstanding combination of energy expertise and assurance. From products to personnel to performance, Anderson Insulation and Owens Corning have taken the next step in all-around insulation satisfaction.

Anderson Insulation were excellent both the appointment, but really more so the 2 installers were professional, extremely hard working, from explaining and answering the process and the final cleanup, they even stayed later than expected. We highly recommend Anderson Insulation and any all services they provide. Thanks so much!!! 💕🇺🇲👍👍👍👍👍

My gutter install failed the first time and the second time around it was corrected, but I needed to pay for it 2X because the wrong gutters were installed initially. Anderson didn't take any responsibility in the original quote being incorrect.
My mother also used them. She was specific about what she needed addressed with her gutter job. The problem was not fixed, and it's been about a year and the sales rep ignores us, and I keep leaving messages at the business and no one is calling back.
This has been a very unpleasant experience.

Great company and they understand insulation! Workers are professional and very detailed about the quality of their work; they understand spray foam and the importance of a quality installation. Very impressed with all levels of the company; from sales to installation.

Got a quote from a another local insulation company and decided to call Anderson’s to get one because they have been around forever. Very easy to make an appointment one line. No one ever answers the phone so you have to wait for a call back . Had an appointment to get a quote from them this week. I called the morning of my 4pm appointment to see if I could get a early time because I would be home early. After waiting for a call back they gave me the direct number to the guy coming out. Called him at 10am and as usual no answer. Left a voicemail . 6 1/2 hrs later with no return call and already

TERRIBLE. They have been doing work in the building next to ours for several days now. Their box truck is running for 8 hours a day right under our windows, and the smell from its exhaust is very strong and absolutely unbearable. We have to keep all the windows closed, and still cannot avoid some of the smell getting in. It's nauseating, this should be illegal to pollute air in a residential area like that. And their employees -- they have to breathe in this poison every day at work!.. Maybe that explains their driver's dangerous behavior on the roads described in two other reviews?!? Funny fact

I used Anderson six years ago when building my house to install insulation, gutters and my fireplace. They were extremely efficient and had great communication. Six years later I invited themback to quote my basement project. The price was at market and their team executed. The communication was very good and i would recommend them.

Their workers are very rude. Almost caused a huge accident and laughed about it. Very careless. I saw another review about how careless their driving is, can only imagine the work they do. But they turned into the lane next to me and almost clipped the truck in back of them that they had cut off. What a terrible face for the company and a huge liability if anything were to happen. Be careful around these morons. I believe the plate was MA S30369

I could not think LESS of Anderson Insulation after an experience on Route 3 in Massachusetts' South Shore this morning. Two of their employees driving a company-branded box truck were swerving in and out of traffic, cutting other drivers and myself off and putting HUNDREDS of lives at risk. After this behavior went on for more than a few miles, I finally got beside their truck to see what was going on. When I did, both the driver and passenger proceeded to yell and scream profanities at me and make obscene and offensive hand gestures towards me and my family. I couldn't believe what was happening

At this point, I wish I could give this business NO stars!
A few years ago, Anderson installed foam insulation in my attic. At the time, I questioned their blocking the ridge vent, but was told it's OK and it didn't need venting. Even since, I had had serious problems with icicles and ice build up.
Last month I had a Mass Save energy audit done on the house and was told the attic is far too warm, there is significant heat loss, and blown insulation needs to be added. Today, the Mass Save company was here, but could not do the work. Why? No venting! The insulation specialists were shocked

This company really helped us out of a bind. We realized far too late in a project that spray foam insulation was the way to go. We called to see if they could fit us into their schedule -- and they were able to! The price was reasonable for the work we needed to get done -- spray foam insulation isn't cheap from anyone. They showed up on time, prepped the work area carefully, and finished the job with little to no drama! At the end, they cleaned up and there was no sign they had been here -- except for everything nicely insulated. I would definitely hire them again when we need more

I have tried on 3 separate occasions to do business with Anderson Insulation. The first time they told me they were to busy to come out and that they cant take on new business. Then last year I called to have a wood stove installed and some insulation work, I waited half the day and they never showed up. You think I would have learned but I figured I would give them one more shot. I Just got off the phone with them and once again they are not taking on new business. I have never tried so hard to spend money.
Its great to be busy but if you know you are going to be busy around the same time every

Have to say I am very impressed with this company! TJ came out a few days after I called for a quote, but I decided to go with another company at the time. Before I could sign the other proposal, things happened and weeks later I decided not to go with them after all. Kristen still had the proposal TJ had made, and I agreed to it. Within a week the work was done!
The 2 installers were very likeable and professional, and after they left, you wouldn't know they had ever been there, it was so clean. I learned, too, that the company provides English lessons as a benefit to its employees - and

Excellent experienced crew of Paul and Jim took care of insulating the walls of my 90+ year old house's first and second floors. They were careful in removing and re-installing my 40 year old vinyl siding so that we had no breakage.
Looking forward to lower heating bills this winter!
Overall, I went through 4-5 different outfits to evaluate which one to award this work to. This company had the best rep as well as competitive prices; not the cheapest but worth the extra money to get done right!
The job started on the date they committed and they got it done in the time predicted.

Just built a new home and these guys were probably the best vendor on the job. They have a great product and seem well organized. The price was competitive, the guys showed up in a timely fashion did the job right and cleaned up properly with a good attitude The in house communications were also very good from sales to invoicing. I also bought a fireplace from them and we had a few minor issues with the product which they addressed within 24 hours, honoring the warranty! I would suggest you give them a call

This is an EXCELLENT company. I did an enormous amount of research and interviewed and priced out at least six other companies. Tony Trigler at Anderson came to the house on four separate occasions to review and price out our very complicated third floor insulation job using both iceynene and cellulose, not many companies do both. Our house is 100 years old and very drafty with a complicated roof line. Anderson sent two very professional crews in to to the job and were also meticulous in their clean up which was very important to me too. they were a pleasure to work with and their price was competitive
