ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE COMPANY!!! Do NOT do business with them. I called for a quote and was told $35 for a rekey because my building is commercial. The guy gets here and tells me this outrageous number that it’s going to be $269 bucks plus other fees and everything. Then I tell the guy I don’t want it because it’s not what I was quoted by the lady on… the phone. He then proceeds to tell me he’s not leaving my business till I pay him a service call. We came to an agreement on a price for a new lock and runs to his car immediately when done and doesn’t leave me

LOST MY KEY TO MY TRUCK THE TECH CAME MADE ME ONE FOR $129 WITHOUT THE TRANSPONDER BUT DIDN’T SHAVE IT RIGHT WHICH DAMAGED MY PINS IN THE IGNITION. THE NEXT DAY COULDN’T START IT THEN WAS TOLD I NEED A NEW IGNITION AROUND 1 AFTER MISSING A WHOLE DAY OF WORK WAITING ON A SUPPOSE TO BE 24 HOUR LOCKSMITH. Ive locked my self out my building twice I called SafeKey locksmith both times. The technician that helped me was Justin. He is the best! He came in less than an hour and made me a brand new key & the price that he charged me for the key was relatively low in comparison to what other companies we’re trying to charge me! I recommend them 100%. They are the best.

I locked my keys in my car and the battery had died over night so we couldn't use the code to get in the car. I told the woman over the phone my battery was also dead (although I don't know why the dead battery would keep them from opening a door). She told me it's $15 for them to come out and the tech would tell me how much it would be to open the door. Someone called me and I asked him. I told him I don't want him to open the door and him tell me it's over a hundred dollars. They guy then goes, "Oh no, it'll be hundreds." Hundreds of dollars to unlock a door?! This place is a scam, go some where

I called and asked for a rough estimate on how much it would be to have somebody come out and unlock my car because I had locked my keys in it. I was told that it was 29 to have the tech come out, and it starts at 15 dollars for services. I expected maybe a small price difference but when the tech arrived I was informed it would be $130 dollars. With no other options I had him unlock the car. It took less than 10 minutes to do so. Prices are not as advertised on website. Website quotes were $29 service call and then a list of average prices by situation. We had a lockout situation and service call plus fee ended up being over $250. Compared to the estimated $95 on their website. I would’ve appreciated more transparency.

Needed a key cut for a vehicle on our storage lot in Romulus. Gave them detailed information on the phone and as requested sent them a detailed email with information on who to contact at our lot. Called them 3 times during the day to say the tech had not called us to let us know when he would be at our lot. They kept promising some one would call. At 6PM my lot manager called and was told sorry we can't make it and we didn't get an email which is BS because they told me they received my email. Total waste of our time...don't waste yours with this business.

Beware, very unorganized and did not show up for a scheduled install over a week in advance. Called to reschedule and was told “no big deal, just call the main number and reschedule”. Which I did, and was assured that we would have no issues. But to stay by my phone the day of install and a tech would call me. Appointment time came and went,… and gave them well over an hour window past their scheduled install time. NO CALL, NO SHOW! I finally called the tech that I supplied all of the information to. I DO NOT recommend this to anyone. guy wasted my time by first putting in the wrong adress into his GPS and then when he finally gets here hes telling me that it would cost me 250 bucks for him to unlock my… garage door because he didnt have the tools on him that he needed? so I had to pay extra fees for him to run and grab a ladder? This company was very professional, they made it to me within 20 minutes after I had locked my keys in my car and was standing outside in the cold. They even gave me a discount for being a new customer which I thought was really nice , I have saved their number into my phone if I ever need a locksmith again!
