We had some water damage, and had to take out a portion of wood floor. We didn't have a leftover wood slabs, so I had to get something similar. I've talked to maybe five different floor people, but none of them wanted to do the job saying that mixing new woods with the old will never look right. Also, the new woods I got had different thickness and buildup. Paul came to have a look, and said he can do this at a much lower cost than all other people who said no. He came with his crew a few days later, and the next thing you know, you can't tell the new from the old after a few

We hired Paul and his crew to remove flooring throughout our home (tile, carpet and Pergo), and install engineered hardwood. Total of 1,910 sq ft.
Paul's crew, Ramiro and Genaro, were amazing!!! A+ all the way!!! They both arrived to work on time, 8:30 every morning, and they leave around 4:30 - 5:00. For anyone who has hired a contractor in the past, you understand how important it is for the crew to arrive on time, and to arrive on the days they say they will work. Ramiro and Genaro do not miss a beat. They work throughout the day, and pick up after themselves at the end of their shift

2 of 3 bedrooms in our home had hardwood flooring that was marred in several places and one of these same rooms had wood planks of a smaller width. We thought we had to replace flooring in all 3 bedrooms per a consultation we had had with another "flooring specialist". I found Paul from Yelp, he responded my call, showed up on time at next day estimate, his price is very competitive, his job is perfectly well done, and ON TIME! my project was two bedroom flooring, new floor needs to match old floor in living room and hallway. Paul spent a lot of time patiently looking for the right material, due to the shortage of inventory, Paul has to go few more times to get all the material. Paul is very responsive, always answer call, he is honest and reliable, I can't thank him enough for the beautiful work ! I would give 10 star if I could.

I truly believe Paul is a good guy and wants to be fair. Kind of. He did a new hardwood floor install in our kitchen and laundry that was, bid right on par with another bid we got. So not less expense that other contractors.
All was fine with the install but when it came to the finish work of the sanding and coating, his team lead by Luis did a terrible job. They left these very visible, deep sanding "swirls" left by the sander all over the floor. Then varnished on top of it.
AND dented our fridge with the sander. Paul was initially resistant to any kind of credit for the dented fridge

Paul came and worked on my floor that was uneven in many places. The first step was leveling and then after a day he came back and installed the flooring. We absolutely loved the way our hardwood floors turned out after Paul and his team refinished them! We had some damaged areas from water and sun and Paul was able to carefully sand, lightly stain, and satin finish our wood. It looks brand new! It took a few days for him to come to the house for an estimate. Took 3 business days for the estimate and request for approval. I signed the estimate the same day but never heard from him again even after 3 emails. This started on Nov 5th and it's the 20th as I write. With all the great reviews I'm more than a little disappointed.

100% satisfied with Paul's Wood Flooring. Very professional and meticulous. Paul and his team removed our old, 2 bedrooms, wood floors and plywood subfloors, and reinstalled new moisture barriers, plywood subfloors, engineered hardwood floors, and baseboards. They were very careful, patient, and made sure we were entirely happy. Paul and his supervisor were on-site daily. The price was extremely fair. They deserve my highest recommendation.

Ok, i am in the middle of our bamboo hardwood livingroom install so maybe this review is premature, but, naw, it's not.
Paul was the first one to stop by and he gave me a fair quote based on the knowns at the time. Paul and his 2 of a bevy of wood craftsmen showed up on confirmed.
From day one, Paul started to work on the quoted install. Within a few hours, other issues came up that Paul gladly and professionally addressed.
Specifically, uneven sub floor. He advised before hand the method to be used to measure deflection and the acceptable range without having to perform work to correct

Go with a floor specialist, not a general contractor!
After unsuccessfully visiting several floor shops that do installation (they didn't have what I wanted), I decided to source the floor that I wanted from a floor supplier and then separately hire someone to install them. This was the best decision I ever made because I found Paul. He was a diamond of a find for three reasons.
1. Paul is resourceful. When I told Paul the type of floor I wanted, he found me a different vendor and saved me $1000! He even picked up my floors for me for a small fee. The whole process was seamless.

I can't say enough about Paul and his team. I needed to re-floor two bedrooms and have custom built baseboards and casings to match the rest of my house. Paul had a short window of time during which he was available. He not only rearranged his schedule to fit us in, but the work he did was impeccable.

Paul and his team changed the look of our bedrooms. In our new home, the original hardwood floors were old and in desperate need of revitalization. Paul and his team made them anew. I still cannot believe they are the same floors.

He has an extraordinary eye for detail, amazing craftsmanship and passionate about the finish!
Our house had all the potential over the years to be beautiful but it took finding the right flooring and absolutely the best hardwood installer I have experienced! I am quite picky but Paul had a better eye for detail and made it happen. He walked us through the process several times before we settled on a date and time to move on the install. I was so comfortable and confident in him that we went on vacation while he started and finished the work
