As a county building inspector I visit over a hundred projects a week and see both the best contractor and the not so good ones. A&E insulation is by far the one insulation company that stands out both on a personal level as well as professional. The owner Ernie goes far above in making sure the project is done not just to county code but does right by his customers.

A & E Insulation did both my gutters and insulation. The gutters were done late in 2018 and the big snow came in Feb 2019. I asked for longer stainless screws and heavier aluminum and brackets because I have a metal roof. The snow came and literally took off all my gutters. As it turns out the gutters were not the heavier aluminum, the brackets literally came apart or off the facia and the screws were galvinized short screws that came out of the facia or just broke off. A & E would not reimburse for the work and actually wanted more than they charged the first time to put the gutters back

10 years ago I was referred by a neighbor. I had A & E come out and give us a estimate. The bid was competitive and the estimator answered all my questions, I accepted their bid and set the time and day. The A & E workers were on-time, hard working and curtious. They took the time to explain the process. After the work was completed, everything was cleaned up and hauled away.
Anyone who is in need of insulation installation should take a look at A & E Insulation. We recently downsized and I hope to use them again...

This one star rating is only because I don't have a negative star option. This company is also in the gutters and down spout business and they did the work on my brand new house built on Whidbey island by the Eagle Building Company. Aside from their total disregard for straight up and down on the down spouts, they also felt it would be appropriate to drill screws in to the back of the gutter right over my back deck that were 1" from the bottom of the gutter, and then for what ever reason, remove said screws. Leaving holes in an area of the gutter where water would most certainly be. Needless
