The Carpet House is a local, family owned and operated business started in 1976 by Bonnie and Ross Baker, and later joined by Joseph VanLiew who now runs the day to day operations. Our sales staff and installation crews have been with us for years, and just like our customers, are also our neighbors and friends.
The Carpet House offers a huge selection of in stock and special order carpeting. Warm up rooms and reduce energy bills with the natural insulation and comfort of carpet. Research shows that carpet does not just feel warmer, it also insulates up to 17 times better than other flooring. Despite common misconceptions, carpet may have no effect on your allergies.
Designed to meet today's demands, resilient-vinyl floors look great and work hard. And we offer some really practical and pretty choices-Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT), Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP), and sheet vinyl flooring. LVT is a luxury vinyl product that looks like stone or ceramic tile, complete with gorgeous natural colors and surface texture that feels like the real thing.
Clean mats on a regular basis (or sooner, when they need it) so they don't become sources of soil themselves. A good carpet pad not only gives better resilience and comfort underfoot, it can extend the life of your carpet, especially on stairs. Because some carpets carry warranties with specific density and thickness requirements, be sure and review your warranty before purchasing your pad.

If I could give them a 0 I would!!! My carpet was installed not even a year ago and is lifting on the edges! As a matter of fact the day it was done I had to have someone come back because I could lift the whole side of the carpet right up! It was supposedly “fixed” yet not even a year later while moving my daughters bedroom around I noticed the whole entire back side of her room the carpet has lifted!!!! NEVER AGAIN!

I would definitely recommend the Carpet House. We have used them to install vinyl flooring and carpet in our house. We had an issue with a transition piece that they installed 3 years ago. They put us right on their schedule, came out and found a solution. Their customer service is great. Easy to get ahold of someone, friendly and knowledgable. We plan on using them again in the future. I would much rather support a small business like this then a big chain store like Lowe’s.
