I absolutely don't usually leave reviews that are unnecessarily tacky. I love small businesses and I support free enterprise for sure. But is anybody that that reads my reviews knows I do believe wholeheartedly and telling you guys the truth. Unfortunately for Smith custom pools I have more than just regular dealings with them and it seems to me that they lack the integrity to be trustworthy and honest businessman. Contracted labor should always be paid for at the quote agreed upon that's it that's all and if you are any type of business worth your salt then if you agree upon us some to a contractor

Do not hire this company. These google reviews are all FAKE except for the negative ones. Do yourself a HUGE favor and go to YELP, the "real" reviews from his customers are there. They have their employees and family providing many FAKE reviews to fraudulently boost ratings. Many of these people saying great things work the office, I know their names. Doug Smith is even reviewing himself here. He is a compulsive liar with no project management skills. You will lose $$ and he will promise the world with no delivery on any promises - driving you insane from day one to the day he is practically kicked

We absolutely couldn't be happier with the pool that Smith Custom Pools designed for us! We told them a few ideas we had for our pool and they created a beauty that far exceeded our expectations. Not only is our pool exactly what we hoped for, the demeanor of every person we came into contact with from this company was not only professional, but kind. From start to finish, it only took about 2 months to complete. I highly recommend them to transform your backyard into a tranquil escape from reality, just like he did for us!

This company started working on our tiny pool back in February 2019 and they have yet to finish (October 2019). Still waiting on fire bowls. This was the worst experience ever. Many workers told me with such a small pool, it should have been completed within 2 months. They knocked down our brick fence and now the HOA is coming after us to fix. If the company would have put the bricks up in a timely manner I'm sure HOA would not have noticed. We now have to pay HOA about $2k for brick wall and landscaping that SCP messed up. Major worker turnover.
