Schulhoff is there every step of the way with you, as your yard goes through the seasons of its life.
We have an assortment of Stump Grinders able to remove your stump. We have the large machines for the big stumps down to the small ones for tight locations. Stump grinding is designed to take the stumps below grade, so you may add dirt and plant grass back over the site. Stump grinding is not designed to remove a whole root system from the ground.
Fall is one of the best times of the year for root growth. As fall comes, the length of the days shortens, temperatures drop, and the above ground part of the tree goes into dormancy. It shifts its focus from photosynthesizing to gathering energy though its root system, and helping those roots grow will help the overall health of the tree.

Schulhoff is the best. I had received quotes from a number of other companies for help cleaning up an old elm that was starting to affect the cable/phone wires coming into our house. Despite the fact that all tree care companies are crazy busy this time a year, Schulhoff was by far the fasted group to respond to my inquiries and provided a quote that could not be beat. Chris and team are very professional and I'd trust them for any tree service I need in the future. Keep up the great work/service.

I have been using Schulhoff at our central Denver home for 14 years. We have an old home with more than ten old growth trees on the property. They are a busy company so if you want to call them and have the expectation that they will be right over you will be disappointed. That being said , they are busy busy because they provide a reliable quality service. When you first schedule an arborist will come by your home and evaluate your trees and your property. Together you will develop a plan based on need and budget. I have never had a Schulhoff employee try to sell me a service I did not need or

We've worked with Schulhoff for more than a decade to care for the trees on our 1.5 acre property in Morrison. They've always provided outstanding customer service and delivered expert, knowledgeable care for our trees. A special shout out to Chris, our regular point of contact. He spends a generous amount of time at our property explaining tree care to us and has voluntarily provided arborist support and advice to our homeowners association. This is clearly a company with a positive culture that we see in everything they do.

We got their name from our neighbor who had her Aspen cleaned-up. The tree seems to be doing fine so we called them for some work here. In our yard, they took down an Aspen and safety pruned a 40-foot Poplar. They did a very good job; kept the area clean; didn't trample on the existing flowers. We're very happy with them. We would call them again.

Seemed friendly when I received the estimate but had to schedule 1month out leaving a small amount of time for any wiggle room not get a fine from the city. As the date got closer there was no confirmation or contact with me. I had to follow up to receive a date for service however they never showed up. I left a frustrating voicemail that evening and never heard from them. Terrible and awful customer service. I'd highly recommend going to another company who can and will be more reliable!

They trimmed my neighbor's tree and decided they'd rather put stress on my new wooden fence by climbing over it to clean up my yard rather than knock on my door and have me unlock my gate. I'm glad I work hard keeping my property maintained so that people like this can disregard my efforts.
Other tree services have contacted me a few days prior to the trimming to ask for entry to my yard; what a concept!

I represent a group of businesses in Denver and we contract with them for our holiday/year round lights in the trees in our district. Chris, Justin, and their crew have done a great job during the whole process. From initial meeting to putting up the lights as well as helping with repairs. Highly recommend this company!

Chris is the sales guy I dealt with and it was a rough start but after some simple communication and patience Chris got us set up and his professionalism has been the key to a successful service relationship since.

I don't know how companies like this stay in business. They use antiquated methods to schedule service, don't return phone calls, don't show up when they say and charge way more than other services. For example, in order to trim my tree they had to coordinate with Xcel to get the limbs around the power lines cut. The Xcel people came in and cut a huge amount of branches. Schulhoff left those branches in my backyard for 9 days before they came out! The Xcel guy said the other tree services get out the next day so the downed limbs don't kill your grass.

Shulhoff didn't show up at the arranged time and didn't call to let me know that they couldn't make it. I left them a detailed voice-mail and asked them to contact me. They didn't return my call. When I finally got them on the line, they claimed to have no record that the work was to be done at that time and no explanation as to why they hadn't responded to my voice-mail. I canceled the work. A good company might have, at this point, contacted me to make amends or at least apologize but I have heard nothing from them. Several years ago I had a similarly frustrating experience

I should not even given this company one star! First off the punk kid that tree trims was dropping branches on our roof ran over our sprinkler line in the late fall, Had to come fix it in the spring, tried to claim he didn't run it over. He told the owner that he had no idea what we were talking about. Where the owner said to him, now I can see the tire tracks though the lawn, you don't need to lie. He claims he didn't remember.
Second offense is the tree spraying people are coming around spraying who knows what chemicals all over my vehicle and our house with a 4 month old baby
