In 1977, Joseph Heil established Heil Plumbing after gaining a wealth of experience in commercial, industrial, and residential settings. He quickly earned the trust of hundreds of home and business owners with his quality of service. When his son, Edward Heil, joined the company, Heil Plumbing expanded its team of expert plumbers.

Edward started working for his father Joseph Heil while he was in high school, then ventured out and worked for other plumbing companies. In 1990, after his father suffered a heart attack, Edward came back to work for the company. Edward holds a master plumber/gasfitter for license. He also holds a backflow prevention, stationary engineers and home improvement license in the State of Maryland.

My shower failed to generate hot water this morning, 12/30. In spite of closures everywhere for the New Year's holiday, Heil Plumbing was on the job! In less than 30 minutes, 2 plumbers showed up, assessed the problem and gave great recommendations for proactive replacement of an 18 yr old water heater. It was installed and operational about an hour later. I couldn't be happier with the professional and responsive service! On a scale of 5 stars, they deserve 6!

This was by far the experience I've had with a plumber in the 7 years we've been here in MD. Nick was friendly, professional, brimming with knowledge and expertise, and had the job done (replaced our toilet) in well under two hours start to finish! We had a leak issue on a Sunday. After calling 8+ plumbers and mostly getting a can't come out until tomorrow, Heil called back, and even though we were out of their emergency service territory, the technician called back and give us advice on the likely issue over the phone and told us we didn't need to pay for an emergency plumber. Really appreciate going above and beyond for someone who wasn't a customer.

We've used them twice, and had two good experiences. Both times Nick was our technician; we had a clogged toilet (don't flush baby wipes, even if they say they're flushable!) and an issue with our kitchen sink drain. We were able to get an appointment quickly, they showed up within the window, gave us an accurate (and fair) estimate, and did a great job with the work.

We use Heil Plumbing for all our plumbing needs. We've used them for years. We don't bother getting other estimates, because Heil Plumbing is honest and competent. You can rest assured that they will do the work well and not let you down. I would strongly suggest that you call them first and have them do your plumbing work for you.

What can I say? I called at 7:20 AM for clogged kitchen sink/disposal. They gave us a two hour window from 10 AM to 12 pm. Called at 8 AM and said they were running ahead of schedule and could they come in at 815 instead. In and out by 930, Took payment over the phone since I wasn't home (my parents were). Sent me an email receipt instantaneously. I have a perfectly functioning drain now. Money well spent!

Needed a drain stopper removed which was difficult on my part given the way it broke and the position. They were responsive and got the job done promptly. The only drawback was the price point. Factor cost of parts and this should have been maxed half of what they charged. But I knew that upfront and needed this repair quick. Others just quoted the cost to visit but needed to see the damage before quoting so there is that. Overall, solid people and service was great, just a bit on the high side.

Two plumbers came out quickly and were very courteous. They pulled off their shoes when I didn't even ask. This is the second time I used them with the same quality and quick service. When they say they will come out first thing they did both times. We will need a water heater soon and I would definitely use them.

Just had a very messy basement plumbing situation resolved by Gary Rogers from Heil Plumbing. Although plumbing issues are rarely cheap, I couldn't have been more pleased with both the fast, efficient customer service provided by the Heil Plumbing office staff, and the thorough and knowledgeable service from Mr. Rogers. He patiently explained the possible problems and solutions, and how we would go about deciding how best to resolve the issue. He then ordered the needed parts, had them delivered promptly, fixed my ejector pump issue and advised me on how to reduce the chances of this happening
