J.B Kidney has sourced slate from quarries as close as Vermont and as far as Wales to ensure a prefect match to the original materials used.

We had to replace a flat, rubber roof that was under a second floor deck and called JB Kidney and Sons, because they had installed a standing seam, copper roof on another section of our house. Scott Kidney and his crew arrived promptly on the agreed-upon date. The roof was in worse shape than we knew and had electrical wiring that needed replacement, but Kidney met these unexpected problems with no hesitation. The final product was well-crafted, with red copper flashing and sloping high R-value insulation. The quality of design and implementation is much higher than what we originally had. Moreover

JB Kidney restored our slate roof, removed the old wooden gutters and installed new gutters, as well as installed copper trimming and overhangs to replace the rusted tin roof. They were professional, knowledgeable and fast. Would highly recommend them.
