Working with the Brighten Pool's team has been a dream!! They are so understanding of your needs and really partner together to design a pool that fits in your budget while not sacrificing on quality. I was always impressed on their pool building knowledge and how they are staying up to date on what is happening in the pool construction world. They really offer it all and their customer service is just the icing on the top! If you're thinking of getting a pool you should definitely consider using them.

Pool was in bad state of disrepair. Master Pools resurfaced the pool and spa. Looks beautiful now. They did what they said they would, communicated very well, worked around some really inclement weather to make our dates work. Very happy with the result. Nice job!

Highly recommend Master Pools of Austin. Had some issues with communication in the beginning, but had a wonderful experience after that. The crew that built our pool was great, and very hardworking. Red is awesome. Any issues we had were addressed and resolved quickly. They use high quality materials and always kept our yard clean. If you're looking to install or remodel a pool, Master Pools is the absolute best choice!

Great experience from design through construction. The only issue was that once 95% of the pool was complete, it's been very difficult to get the last 5% done off the punch list. This is the case with pretty much every builder/contractor, but still... i wish they would just get it done. But overall, they were awesome and i would definitely recommend them and use them again.

When it came time to remodel my pool I didn't go low bid. I went with Master Pools. That was a big mistake. Had I known then what I know now, I would have gone low bid. I'm still having issues years later caused by a major mistake Master Pools made during the remodeling. The only real fix is to start over, redo the work, and plaster again. Master Pool wants me to pay to fix their mistake. My recommendation to anyone else, is to look elsewhere.

Master Pools renovated our pool last Spring. They did a good job on the actual pool planning and replaster but hired a sub-contractor to do the decking. The concrete started cracking within the first few months and the cracking is all over the slab. The cracks are on top of the rebar placement and circle the entire pool both crosswise and lengthwise. The subcontractor has worked with us to make the appearance better but we have gotten NO RESPONSE from the management of Master Pools. The manager (Dennis) refused to return our calls and has never even been out to see the pool. This is a shame

Horrible experience. Was told the project would be done in about 3 months if weather permitted (there were no weather problems during that time). Took over 1 1/2 years to complete the project. Paver decking had to be done 3 different times because they did not lay it properly and it sank. Crews were not Master pool crews and were not supervised at all. Don't believe anything they say.

Our deep-water, freeform pool / spa with in-floor cleaning system and water features, is absolutely beautiful!! Eric, Steve, Adam, Amanda and Michael were incredible and quick to follow-up on any questions. Even with quite a bit of rain, our build time was just over 90 days!!! Thanks to everyone at Master for building a beautiful oasis in our backyard that we enjoy everyday!

We're wrapping up our pool remodel that started nearly a year ago. Master Pools is intent on doing a good job. There have been some management issues over the last year or two that led them to accepting too many pool builds/remodels and using inadequate sub-contractors (see my reviews of them). Because they were over committed, the management of our project was seriously lacking: sub contractors didn't know what to do or did whatever they wanted to. I wanted to write this as I chose this company off positive Yelp reviews, despite a bid that was lower elsewhere. I am VERY disappointed in the service I received from this company. I paid 50% up front for a complete replaster of my pool back in December. I was told by my salesperson that the actual work would be done "in a couple of weeks". Given that it was so close to Christmas, I assumed that it would be a couple of weeks into the new year, and I was okay with that.

I had a wonderful experience with Steve and his team over at Master Pools of Austin. They were extremely helpful, on time with all of their communication, up front about costs and time frames on when to expect my pool to be completed, and the outcome was gorgeous!
Definitely recommend them for future business! Anyone leaving a bad review because they didn't get a call back needs to grow up. Attempting to hurt a business because someone didn't call you back is childish and immature. You didn't give them your business and they didn't make any money off of you. That's enough

We've been working with a few top Austin area pool builders for a renovation for a couple of months now. Out of all of them Master Pools has been the most professional and reasonably priced. I'll update after we've completed our project - I just wanted to put my experience out there to dispel the less than favorable review.
Our project has taken a really long time. We're pleased with the finished product at the end of each stage. Hopefully this continues to the finished product. We're almost done.

My wife and I decided to look into pools. Made a short list of three Austin vendors to visit with. Fairly unimpressed with two, but one - Master Pools - was the one we chose. Not because they "were the only other vendor", but because they treated us well, listened, promised to deliver.
Justin took plenty of time, over the course of several appointments, to help us design our pool with the decorative and equipment options we wanted. Then he interfaced with water district and city for permit and inspections. Nothing for us to do... nice.

We were building a custom home with a very tight construction schedule and a complex pool design due to tight courtyard spacing. The build was complicated even further with the length of the hydraulic pipe runs to keep the equipment away from the pool, a fully integrated cantilevered safety cover and a deck drain system that had to run through a exterior wall and around the house to discharge.
With this design in mind we looked at bids from several reputable companies in Austin and interviewed several others. The decision was easy once we met Master Pools. Steve made us feel right at home

We had looked at several pool companies to create the design we were looking for in our fairly large sloping backyard. Justin from Master Pools of Austin came out and listened to exactly what we were looking for and nailed it! Their whole team was very professional and quick to resolve any questions or issues we had throughout the process. Having been a previous pool owner,we really like the very low maintenance required with our new in-floor cleaning system. Bottom line first:. The quality of work by Master Pools of Austin was excellent and, best of all, they came through with the most competitive bid. I look for good work at a fair price and do not want so-so or shoddy work at any price. This time I think we found excellent work at the best price. Remember, if you need to have your pool re-plastered or any other pool & deck renovations, get multiple bids, but make sure that one of them is from Master Pools of Austin.

Master Pools level of service, professionalism, and value is beyond compare in the Austin pool and outdoor market. We spent about a month in search of a pool renovation company. We had to replaster our pool bottom that was heavily damaged with scaling and black mold due to the lack of attention by previous owners.
By far, our most important factor in the whole experience was price. We really desired a pebble aggregate bottom for our pool but were afraid that we would be unable to fit it in our budget so would also be happy to just do plaster.

Deciding to build a pool and making a large investment in your home requires a trusting relationship with a company that will deliver what they promise. Master Pools of Austin calmed my fears and did a wonderful job of designing and building our pool. From the beginning, the team honored our need to stay within a budget, explained everything, and never pressured us with upgrades or last minute changes. Each phase of construction was organized, timely and supervised. The pool turned out perfect!

I went with Master Pools of Austin on my pool construction & it turned out beautiful! Dennis, Terry & James did a great job of designing & constructing our pool & retaining wall as we have a 30 ft drop down to the Guadalupe river! But with all their hard work & creativity we ended up with a gorgeous pool & wall! I highly recommend them!!
