My experience working construction at a young age helped me find my passion. I realized then that I enjoyed understanding the space, it's constraints, the needs and desires of the customer, and using that information to create designs that worked.

I am delighted to provide a reference for Mr. Dustin Starwood, owner of D S stone and Tile. Dustin has just completed a 600 Square foot project for the Kihei Ali'i Kai home owners association. The project included installing Brazilian Quartzite stone on our pool, spa, BBQ area, and front walkways. As Property manager, I have worked closely with Dustin for the past three months.

Excellent service and quality! Dustin tiled our lanai and shower room at our Sugar Beach condo. The layouts, grout work and colors all look great. We are not tile experts, but he answered all of the questions we had and was flexible as things changed throughout the project. The shape of our building allowed us to make our shower significantly larger which we were uncertain of until the old shower was demo'ed. Dustin called and sent pictures so that we could make decisions from a distance and the extra room is great to have. Dustin was always available during the project and remained available for

DS Tile and Stone did a fantastic job installing a step in shower in our home. He and his crew kept to the scheduled time and where clean and tidy at the job site. We had a problem with the layout of our tile and Dustin came up with a solution that that gave us a better end result than we had planned on! Many thanks to DS Stone and Tile!

We had 200 square feet of tile completed by Dustin and he did an awesome job. The quality was great.
His flexibility and attitude while in our unit is what we liked best. He always showed up on time and worked to a tight schedule so that we would have access to the kitchen when we needed it while the job was progressing. Done right and done on schedule. Can’t say enough about Dustin and we would recommend him to anyone looking for tile work on the island

NEVER NEVER AGAIN.
Before I hired Dustin Starwood, the owner of D S Tile, I had old tile in my condo and a large sliding screen door from the living room to the lanai which was working marvelously. After Dustin finished, I had nice new tile and a SLIDING SCREEN DOOR THAT I COULDN’T OPEN. After one maintenance company told me that the newly laid tile was laid too close to the track the screen door is supposed to slide along I contacted Dustin. He insisted that he had installed the tile correctly. Two additional screen door installation professionals said that the tile needed to be cut back from

A few years ago my husband and I had some remodeling done on our family home. We had Dustin come in to tile 2 of our storage rooms, entryway, kitchen and 2 bathrooms floors. He did a outstanding job. The one thing we noticed about him was how meticulous he was in doing his work. He is very personable and easy to work with. Would definitely recommend him.
