Services
Our industry educated, highly trained and professional staff work with our customers to determine the precise needs for your home or business. Designing, building and installing engineered systems for over 60 years, TenEyck Septic will customize a system specific to meet the needs of most any size home, business or facility.
Buying or selling a home is one of the most important times in a person's life, so thorough inspection of the septic system is crucial, and standard "blue dye" tests aren't always accurate. Don't trust these important details to just anyone! Our trained professionals perform a beginning to end inspection of your entire system, assuring it's optimal function.
A septic system is more than just a septic tank-a drain field (leach field, leach drain) connects to the septic tank, removing contaminates and impurites. TenEyck Septic Systems installs both standard drain fields and Eljen In-Drain Systems. We build drain fields for both residential and commercial use in Upstate New York, including Saratoga, Schenectady, and Warren Counties.
Not all soil is created equal, and where traditional systems may not be an option, a raised fill or mound system may be more sutiable for your particular needs! Often, areas with permeable or impermeable soils, soil over porous bedrock, or soils that have a high seasonal water table, work better with a raised fill or mound system!
Grease traps trap grease that is dispensed into your pipes to separate it from the water; this grease can build up very quickly. A clogged grease trap can cause unexpected and unwanted issues, possibly interrupting your business. A properly cared for grease trap is vital to the operation of your restaurant or food service facility!

I couldn't be happier with the services that Ten Eyck provided. As first time home buyers, we utilized their services for a septic inspection prior to a purchase. They were quick to identify major issues that needed to be addressed and investigated further. They were extremely accommodating with scheduling. The employees were professional, polite, and informative. They carefully explained the identified issues and provided a comprehensive report within one day. We plan on using them again and would highly recommend!

Paid to have my tank emptied they arrived without water on the truck so they were not able to take the majority of what is in a septic tank. Was then told if I wanted the rest of the tank emptied I would have to make a new appointment and pay full price which I don't know just seems wrong. Spoke to someone in charge who said they would help out and I just need to make an appointment. Well What do you know charged full price for the 2nd appointment to complete the 1st job already paid for. I won't say don't use them just plan on potentially paying twice and making multiple appointments for service

Had an inspection completed early in the summer and was told I likely needed a new leach field. I tried to follow up with the owner to get a quotation for new leach field, but my calls were ignored. Now I'm being told that they likely can't take on the work and should look elsewhere.

TenEyck did a septic inspection for my wife and I on a house we were considering buying. The guys who did the inspection went out of their way to help us understand what's what and so fourth. They made some calls to help us establish a history of an issue with the existing system to present to the sellers attorney. Appreciate them a lot. Will use them for our future septic needs.

I had an emergency situation with a full septic tank and clogged filter. Waste water was beginning to seep into the yard. I called Ten Eyck and they made it their priority to resolve my problem on the same day. They pumped out our tank and cleaned the clogged filter. Very professional, helpful and knowledgeable. I never write reviews, however, this company provides outstanding service.

We hired Ten Eyck Septic Tank Services to perform an inspection of the septic system on a house we plan to purchase. Jim arrive on time for a 9:00AM Saturday morning appointment (FYI, other inspectors that I contacted wouldn't even consider an appointment on Saturday). He methodically inspected the septic system. Using a camera, he was able to inspect the lines from the house to the tank, and from the septic tank to the drainage area. He found that the line out of the septic tank was almost completely collapsed about 10 feet from the tank and again further down the pipeline a second collapse. He

Scheduled an septic inspection with them and not only did they arrive late but they could not find the septic tank and gave up after only 40 minutes. I reached back out to them to see if they could come back with different detection devices or an excavator to be able to further investigate. But after several phone calls from me and my realtor I gave up on them because they would not even give me the courtesy of returning a call.
