I am extremely happy I chose DFW appliance repair to come and repair my refrigerator freezer. I called several appliance repair shops and had to leave a message. I never received a call back from any of them, after three days of waiting for a return phone call I checked on line and found DFW Appliance repair LLC. On 4/26/21, a repairman from DFW Appliance Repair replaced a pump on our washing machine. After the repairman left my house, the machine went into drain mode. A hose was not installed on the pump, and water flooded my laundry room and two adjacent rooms. Repairman returned to correct issue with hose, and witnessed the water damage to baseboards and also witnessed the cleanup efforts of myself and my wife. Baseboards are made of MDF and immediately swelled and allowed water to make contact with wallboard behind the baseboards. The company would not send out water remediation experts to assist and

Spoke with Richard Aragon on Tue 05Jan 2021 to set up a repair for our built in GE microwave oven. Within an hour his tech Keith Davis called me back and we agreed upon an appointment time on the following day. Then, nothing. No show. No call. Nothing. So I called J&J and set up an appointment. Their tech showed up on time, ordered parts, kept us in the loop, came back right on time and completed the repair professionally and properly. Highly recommend! We had an oven issue where the circuit board was malfunctioning and the oven did not turn on at all. Richard was prompt and courteous and was able to fix the same day. He even took the time to further explain the tools he used to my husband and the circuit breaker in our garage. He saved us hundreds of dollars from having to buy a new oven. Highly recommend!

Had a recommendation from Nextdoor so I gave them a call on a Monday for same-day service to replace a touchpad on a a Whirlpool kitchen range that had multiple keys not working. I provided the part I purchased on my own.
They gave me a 7-9pm time range to accommodate me. I was hesitant but I accepted. Initially it was very hard to get a proper ETA but Richard finally confirm that he'd be there by 9.
He made it to the house and was able to install the new touch pad in about 25 minutes. Everything worked great and range can be used again!
Minus the communication hiccups, I'm very satisfied

They were able to come out the same day and additionally come back with a missing part late on a Friday evening instead of waiting until Monday! STEER CLEAR from this absolute nightmare of a company. First they came out and misdiagnosed my fridge saying that the problem was some kind of controller and that they will back after they order the part, a week later they said they have the part and schedule me for service between 12 and 5, kept calling to say they will be late, until they called at midnight and cancelled. Scheduled me for the next day and did the exact same thing only this time I called them at 11:30 pm to cancel since I couldn't stay up any longer on a school night. I called to schedule a diagnostic ($69) for my dryer and was told the technician would arrive between 9-11. They refused to give me a quote over the phone because they said they had to see what was wrong with it first. Fine.

When I called over the Christmas holiday Sarah answered the phone and was really nice and fully explained the service charge and details. Rick called the next day and I described the problem and he went to pick up parts on his way. Withing a minute he diagnosed the problem and changed out the thermostats. I could have done it for a lot less but it would have taken me forever to figure out the problem so the price and lesson was worth it. Rick and Sarah are a great couple and I'll do business with them again.
