Owner/Operator Chris Mendenhall has worked in many facets of the grading and excavation industry for more than 15 years. In November of 2014, Chris decided to go into business for himself by purchasing a Kubota mini excavator. Our business continues growing with new customers and new jobs. There are many different kinds of septic systems that can be used in the great state of North Carolina. Most of the nearly 2 million systems in use throughout our state are slight modifications of the conventional septic system. The conventional system has a septic tank and a drain-field, usually with gravel-filled trenches (usually two to six trenches).

Chris came out on fairly short notice to help investigate an issue with my septic tank and he was able to solve it and repair it within only a few hours. We had a saturated leach field and needed repair. Chris worked us in as soon as the weather dried up. He coordinated with the county, line finders, inspection, and had the job done in 1 day. I was expecting the yard to look like a disaster area but the grading and cleanup was perfect and beyond my expectations. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

Chris and his team did an amazing job planning and completing a complete reroute of our septic lines including inspection of the project by the county. They were right on time, worked diligently, and left my property in the best possible condition (even cleaned off the driveway by hand afterwards). Highly recommend for any project, especially for dependability on tough/complex jobs!
