I was told i needed a new unit that would cost $5,000. A gentleman in crocs came out twice and said i needed a new unit and there were no parts for my unit. 2 other gentlemen cane out 2 days later,said the same thing. After going without air for 3 weeks i had another company come out and say it was just a motor. He went to the store and came back with a motor and within an hour my air was working. I understand a company trying to make their money but this was ridiculous trying to swindle a customer. I also don't like being called the "homeboy" when talking to the secretary!

I originally reviewed them for an install in 2018 then hired them to install at my house in 2020 and the Quick and Painless, Professional, courteous and knowledgeable staff is no longer! They brought the first unit in the back of a subcontractors pickup on its side, Sub proceeded to drop it on its side and install it. My house did not get cool and the unit made a horrible grinding noise. They came out and replaced the unit with a brand new unit and the Same Subcontractor (16 years HVAC experience) wired the unit backwards. After 4-5 days of

We had issues with our air conditioning/heater....We were unable to maintain an ideal temperature for our house...We called Blackwell Services and Joel Alvarez was here in a timely manner. Joel was very efficient, personable and told us that it is most important for him to accomplish his job to the satisfaction of his customer.

I'm conflicted alittle in writing this review. In November I had a problem with my heating. A technician named Joel was sent. He was professional, and fantastic fixed the heater. My wife and I was so empressed we went ahead and phurchased their annual maintenance package.( I now would not recommend you do that). I was told someone from the office would contact us in May to have our air conditioning serviced. The phone call never came. I called the office an apology for someone not scheduling it was given. I was than scheduled for a Thursday from 1-3 pm. The technician never showed up? So

Blackwell has done both the installation of a whole house fan and a new HVAC system. Joel Alvarez was the lead installer on both jobs, and he and George were fantastic to work with, and a great representation to the company. They were courteous, kept us aware of what was going on, and cleaned up after themselves. When there was an issue with part of our install, Eric took ownership of the mistake and worked to correct it. We will continue to use Blackwell in the future.

Had a technician come out to do a routine inspection on my air conditioning. He ended up pulling the fuse box cover off with the electricity still on. He ended up blowing the fuses and melting my fuse box leaving me without A/C on a 100 degree day. Was told I needed to get a new fuse box at my expense when in reality, it was the technician who should have turned the power off prior to pulling the cover off that connects to the fuses. But that is just the beginning...

Well, my experience with this company was perfect. Technician, Scott Doe arrived within an hour of placing my call to the office.
My air conditioning unit was not cooling as it should be. Scott found the issue and had to go back to Lodi to get a second item. Again, came back in a relatively short period of time and now my air conditioning is working perfectly.
Everything was perfect - from the initial call to request service, to the technician's arrival and repair of the unit.
My experience couldn't have been more perfect.

This company, after trying hard to bring life to our new house's very old HVAC system, agreed it was best to replace it. It would not be an easy install, but their team of Robert and Luis were there promptly as scheduled, were professional and worked with such teamwork that we were impressed. They were clean, friendly, and we are really pleased with their service. We will recommend them to anyone needing HVAC service professionals.
