My home in SF was severely flooded due to a water main break.
The City hired AGH to help get us back on our feet. They did an excellent job of communicating and getting the job done. They showed tremendous flexibility to get around various issues that came along the way. They went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with the work done. I would highly recommend them. The overall experience was excellent.

Jack and his crew work the way you would have people work if it was your business. They are reassuring, professional, and they never cut corners. We had our home partly flooded in a water main break, and after the disaster-recovery crew cut two feet off the bottom of all the walls, it felt even more bleak. A Green Home came in, moved furniture around, and repaired the damage not just well, but with artistry. After suffering major water damage from a leaky roof, we found A Green Home on Yelp and gave them a call. We were immediately impressed by Jack - not only did he answer the phone on a Sunday morning (what a work ethic), but he came over that same day to inspect the damage! He was back the very next day with a crew for demolition so we could start the drying process. I also cannot emphasize enough how incredibly helpful Jack was in standing by our side and advocating on our behalf with our insurance company. This is a long overdue review for Jack and the team from A Green Home.
Back in December The City flooded our basement (long story that needs no re-telling here) and although I am mentally prepared for an earthquake, flooding took me by surprise and I didn't even know where to begin. Enter - Jack Salvato and his amazing team.
Our basement was flooded, and Jack negotiated and worked through everything along with another amazing company, Ideal, who did the clean up.
Jack took the time to find out what we wanted and advised on what would work and what wouldn't with suggestions and ideas

I cannot say enough good things about Jack and his A Green Home construction crew! He did a fantastic job on my kitchen and dining room remodel and it came out more beautiful than I could have imagined. Of course his work is expert, but they made the process clean, organized and efficient. Jack and his team really go the extra mile and he made himself available for any questions I had about the project. Jack and his crew did an outstanding job with our window replacement. We had some stucco work done and the house painted as well. Jack assisted executing each component. All tasks were timely and all crews did very nice, quality work. Jack checked in during the whole process, keeping me informed. One thing that was especially nice was even as the project came to an end, Jack followed through on every last detail. My experience with contractors is that as the project winds down, so does their follow through on your project. Jack makes it clear throughout the whole process that he is interested in

I had a horizontally-sliding bathroom door whose rear wheels had come off track. After much struggle, myself and several others could not get the wheels back on track and the door was essentially jammed. During the initial visit, Jack and an assistant could not physically get the rear wheel back on track either and the plan was unfortunately to tear the wall out and replace the door. Before doing so, he gave it one more try with the assistance of another experienced contractor who creatively managed to get enough access to remove the door, repair the rear wheel set, and re-install the door.
