During August in a week when temperatures were hitting 110 our AC conked out in the middle of the day. Our landlord called Smilanick and in less than 2 hours we were back feeling chill air again. And our rescuer, Joe, could not have been nicer. In fact, their staff has always been wonderful, professional and most friendly.

Our air conditioner stopped working on Wednesday. We made the call for service that night at 5 and they were able to send someone out the next morning. The technician had the necessary motor replacement and was able to get the AC back up and running the same morning. This was amazing as we were entering a 2 week stretch of 100+ degree days!

I own an apartment complex in Fresno. We consider good AC to be of the utmost importance. We have been using Smilanick since 2004. They are the real deal - fair, honest, pleasant. And they know what they're doing. They fix it once and fix it right.
I hired them for the first job after another AC contractor told us that one of our ACs needed to be replaced for $5K. Back then, businesses were listed in this big book called the "Phone Book". I had one for Fresno, and looked up Smilanick. They came out, took a look, said the offending AC was miswired, and they rewired it

Thank you for making me feel like a priority. But I am sure that is how you treat everyone. They worked with my very busy schedule and added me to their work load for the day. John arrived with a large smile and greeting. He asked about my HVAC issues and quickly went to work. Fixed the issues and cleaned the unit as he worked. Very friendly and great service.

This place is EXCELLANT. Our A/C went out and
our management co. sent them out. They were very
prompt. He found the problem, tripped circuit. He could
have just flipped it on and said "later days" but he didn't
he wanted to find out why it tripped in first place. It was
a messed up Junction Box, which he fixed.
