We noticed a big co-dominant maple tree had developed a split and would crush our house if the split got worse and the tree came down. I called Schmitt and Brad showed up, did a quick evaluation and gave me a quote right then.
I requested the tree be limbed and brought down with no clean-up. Brad politely warned me of the mess it would leave but once I reassured him I had no problem cleaning it up myself, he was willing to quote the job as requested. (One of his competitors refused to even listen.)
Brad, Matt and MacGreggor showed up and knocked the job out in a few hours. They were very friendly

I was pressed for time to have tree pruning work done on my neighbor’s trees what were looming over into my yard. My pool install was scheduled for the following week. Brad took my call and was over to estimate same day. His team came ahead of schedule to do the work. Update: They were respectful to the trees, but not the grass. They have a tank piece of equipment that picks up the branches. Would have been nice if they put down some plywood to protect. Plenty of ruts now to take care of. They also said that I would receive a gift card for this review. Never received even after calling 3 times

Schmitt tree service and landscaping took down a large,tall tree in my back yard today. They did an excellent job. They were most professional and were meticulous with clean up. I plan to use Schmitt's for any tree removal or landscaping needs and will recommend their service to friends Their price for the work was a good value. When I received the estimate, I was told that it would be 4 weeks before they could remove my tree. They did the job in the time frame that I was told.

We had 3 trees that needed to be removed, plus one stump and a lot of pruning. Amazing crew came out and got it all done in one day. We were worried because one tree was next to the sewer pipe but they got it all out (including the stump) without any problems. They also cleaned up as they worked and left the yard and driveway clean and free of all debris - including sawdust and leaves. Absolutely thrilled with the results and recommend them completely.

We recently contracted Schmitt’s Tree Service to remove a tree that came down in a storm the end of June, along with two adjacent trees and hangers that were topped in last years storm Isaias and grind their stumps.
Originally, Brad said it would take 2 days to complete the job. Calling 2 days prior, giving me a date and stating that he would complete the work in ONE day! I unfortunately hired this company through a family reference. Job was to have 2 trees removed and 1 tree trimmed. Boom truck set up on my paver patio and destroyed it pushed all pavers into ground where tires and bracing touched ground. Had a sidewalk from to driveway to garage destroyed. After my warnings, crane operator insisted on setting up on top of my in ground oil tank. Left impressions 3 FEET DEEP. I spent 900 to have my oil company come and inspect and replace pump because oil lines where crushed. Also never trimmed 3rd tree and insisted on cash to dodge taxes. And last but not least

The crew came on time, they worked like a well coordinated team, worked safely and respectful of neighbor's property. They completed the job, removed two trees, stumps and left the property neat. I hired Schmitt Tree Service to remove a 50 year old 75 ft tall maple located 10 ft from the back of my house. A HUGE tree! Brad and his crew were on time, professional, had the right equipment to complete the job in one day and were a pleasure to work with. They cleaned up thoroughly and the price was great. Plain and simple, Schmitt’s Tree Service is top notch. The owner Brad came out to price my job the day after I called, was very knowledgeable and wasn’t intimidated at all by the size of the 4 trees, or the power lines and brand new fence that were inches away. He gave me a decent price and date. We hired them and they were here exactly when he said they would be, scoped out the work and performed like skilled surgeons. I am totally amazed at their professionalism. Being a semi-retired contractor I am well aware of how difficult this job was and Brad’s guys worked like a fine tuned machine
