This place was awesome, great service. The only issue was I asked a guy behind the counter to change $20.00 for me so I could tip the guy that cut the saddle for me, he said the only use credit cards, when I literally stood there and saw someone pay cash for their item.. That's some black people for you, never go out on a limb the help their own kind..

If they don't have it, you don't need it! That being said Quality Tile lives up to the name. I went in with an idea of what I wanted and I found it in five minutes. I was so skeptical I walked around the beautiful showroom for an additional 45 minutes just to make sure I wasn't jumping the gun.

It can be overwhelming seeing so much good stuff. One of the tiles I picked out was a marble kitchen countertop! I liked it soo much I wanted it for my walls, lol. Once you have the lay of the show room you'll know what's what and take it from there. Seriously

I waited a couple hours to post this so I didn't post it in complete rage and I'm going to echo another's opinion that if I could give zero stars I would.. I went to this store on the recommendation of my tile guy as we are renovating the master bathroom. The store is massive and there is a huge selection but I was in the store for an hour and forty five minutes the first time and not one salesperson offered any assistance. I went back the second time with my measurements and an idea of what I wanted. I asked for help this time. I told the guy I wanted white quartz with gray in it

I stopped by the check out what they had. I got a sample and what I like about this place is they give you a full size sample. Not a piece of tile. Anyway I shopped around to other tile locations in the Bronx and I must say Quality offered a great price. The owner Anthony gave me a price and when I went back I was given a different price. Peter honored the first price but I suggest getting a written quote so you have it.
I will be going back because the quality of product is good.
As for me shopping around Quality came in at least $1 cheaper per square foot.. So it was a big savings...

These guys are the biggest crooks in the tile business. First off, you can walk into their showroom and walk around for an hour before anyone even acknowledges your presence. If you get anyone to answer a question for you, they will give you a vague answer while they are walking away to go take care of something else. I was given incorrect information about a tile only having one color available when in fact there were many more. They just didn't have any other colors in stock. They will tell you they have something in stock when they don't. Sometimes they have half of the amount

I am currently talking with them - I will update this with how it pans out.
The reason they have 1 star is because after calling in last Wednesday and discussing with someone what I was looking for, they said they would forward me the images of what was in stock that matched what I discussed with them (I was expecting about 5-6 photos per the discussion).
They sent one image at that time - I followed up to confirm, expecting more, and was told they were coming - but then received nothing for a few hours.
I checked in at the end of Wednesday and received one more image, and was told that I would

Wish I could give this place ZERO stars.. Worst run business I've ever been to. Placed a counter top order on 1/30/16 and was told "a couple of days"....1 month later, I just picked up the product. Was called THREE TIMES and told "the counter will be ready tomorrow", however, when tomorrow came.. "Still not ready"... I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PLACE AGAIN!!!

The materials were nice but I experienced nothing but trouble with the service. No shows, calls not returned, poor customer service and just a lack of professionalism. I was continuously inconvenienced. I like the counter and flooring I purchased but I would not return to them or recommend them to anyone.

Yes this place has a Super awesome selection of tiles. Yes it's a Great place for ideas like Ikea. Yes they are super attentive and yes again.....they have SUPER selection. .......BUT.....BUT.....BUT.....here is why I take away 3 stars.
The same tile that I saw in lowes for 12 dollars per tile this place it for 23 per tile. I needed what loews had on stock this placed told me that it was a special order and it would take 7 days. Secondly no refunds on special order. I only used 12 of the 18 tiles I purchased at loews and returned 4 and no questions asked about returning. I got my money

Fantastic selection of tiles, both in style, quality and price to meet your (my) every need. I purchased here a couple of times before writing this review so here are some nuggets of wisdom: (1) Don't buy anything on your first visit. If you like any of their tiles, ask for samples. They will happily supply them to you for free. Go home with them, test them out in your space. Some times you end up liking something that was your 4th or 5th choice. QT does NOT give refunds, only exchanges. Plus, it stinks to haul those heavy boxes of tiles back. (2) Using those samples, SHOP AROUND at Home Depot

Prior to going to Quality Tile, I checked out Lowes and Home Depot but their selection doesn't compare to that of Quality Tile. The showroom displays everything from traditional to contemporary styles. This place can get very busy but the wait time is bearable because the staff is quick.
They have a huge warehouse (7 minute drive away) so plenty is in stock. However, I would suggest having your associate call the warehouse to confirm that your selection is in stock. When I went to pick up my tile, it wasn't in stock and so I had to return to the store to pick something else.

Excellent selection of tiles and below market prices. Huge showroom too. They are always extremely busy, so if you need some guidance or hand-holding, it's best to call ahead and make an appointment.
If you are driving here, parking will be an issue. There's no parking lot and street parking options are abysmal too. Most of the free spots are full and they have alternate side of the street parking rules to further complicate things. Best bet, park in a metered spot over on Allerton. The supermarket lots may seem attractive but they will tow you!

Quality Tile is a solid place. I'm currently working on my second apartment renovation in NYC-- we got our first reno bathroom floor tile here and it's gorgeous, so we decided to come back for our new bathroom and kitchen tile.
The most important thing for me at a tile shop is the selection. Everything is out on the floor, well-arranged, with good lighting and lots of installed tile on every wall to inspire you. The space isn't Wal-Mart big but it's on the large side for a showroom, especially so close to the city. They've totally redone it since the last time I was here
