Allen and his son Shane were a pleasure to work with. From their fair and honest estimate, to the professional installation, their service was top notch. We had 19 windows replaced and couldn't be happier with the outcome. Shane brought samples of their OKNA windows and they were exactly what we were looking for. Great service, product and workmanship. Hard working, honest guys who pay attention to detail. We can't recommend Meister Windows and Siding enough!

I can not say enough great things @ Meister Windows!! Sorry it took me 2 years to write this review. They performed a full house Okna casement window replacement & a new patio door on our home in La Grange. Allen recommended the patio door replacement & he was so right! We love our new beautiful patio door with toe lock. It feels so sturdy & slides like a dream. The Okna casement windows are very energy efficient, easy to operate, and best of all are very sound proof. They personally do the installation (no subs) & install quality products. Allen is so easy to talk with and has really great suggestions

Meister is way out west so they didn’t show up on the radar at first when we were getting quotes for a whole house window replacement. But through our research on window manufacturers, Okna kept showing up as the best - as in better performance than Pella but without the marketing hype.
I think Meister might be the only ones to carry Okna in Chicagoland. They were also the second lowest quote out of about ten. So it ended up being an easy decision.
We liked that Allen and his son do the installation themselves- since installation is just as important as the window.

Bid: Was looking to replace all of the windows on my home about a year ago. I received a bid from Meister Windows & Siding among bids from other companies. Received a fair price from them for Okna Envirostar windows, which I regarded as better than most of the other bids and equal to brands offered by 1 or 2 bids. It's a small family business and Allen and Shane did the initial estimate along with later install. I regard both of them as straight shooters when it came to the estimate. I didn't feel like I was getting some sales pitch, they were honest and straight forward about not only their product

These guys do excellent work. We had to wait a bit longer due to the pandemic and the plants that make the windows being slower but it was well worth the wait. High quality workmanship, excellent communication and very professional. They take pride in their work and it shows. They showed up when they said they would, finished on time and left the job site spotless. If you're looking for windows, I would highly recommend this company.

Researched window companies and the window brand that would be used. Per my research and local recommendations from neighbors and friends decided to call Meister. Allen came out and gave us an estimate on replacement of our living room casement window. Price was fair compared to a couple other quotes I recd, and liked the window brand
better. Allen and his son Shane came out to install our window and did a wonderful job. They made sure it was level and insulated around it extremely well. Also installed new oak trim around the window which was done so well. Our home faces north so get the cold

Allen and Shane did such amazing work. They installed 19 windows, a slider, and new trim and the work was top notch. They are very knowledgeable and professional and they carry high end products. This father and son team are one of few companies that do not use subcontractors. Instead, they put all of their experience and pride into their own work. It is so beneficial to have them personally at the job site in the event that any questions or requests arise. I would recomend them to anyone looking for new windows and/or patio doors.

We had a wonderful experience with Alan and MEISTER Windows.It has been 3 months since our installation (every window and slider in the house) and we are so happy with the quality of the OKNA windows and especially the care and craftsmanship of the installation and customer service Alan and his son provided. I recommend Meister Windows and siding highly, and would use them again in a heartbeat. True craftsmen, father and son team, that actually do the work themselves and care about quality. Hard to find in this day and age. Fairly priced as well. Especially with the worry free job and quality.
