These guys moved us August 27 and 28 2021. They were excellent the first day ! The second day was like a 3 ring circus. Unorganized and damaged furniture.I had a fence being installed on my new property and they were bugging the contractors for drinks. They put my patio table on the front porch and didn't put it where I asked. They also put our bed together and the middle support was missing. Never found it. They sent someone out to make half asked repairs on our furniture . The things that couldn't be repaired they were supposed to get back with us on. After multiple calls just to hear them say

I was not satisfied with my moving experience with Delaware moving and storage company. They did not live up to recommendations received. Date of move was August 18, 2021. I had a two bedroom apartment and no appliances to be moved. The movers did not arrive until I alerted the office. The three workers did not work in tandem while one was wrapping and packing furniture one was standing around watching and on his cell phone Talking and texting. This occurred 90% of the time. I was given an estimate of 2 to 4 hours to pack and move and the actual move took five hours and 45 minutes.

Let me start off this review by preferencing that I used Delaware Moving and Storage before, and I was happy with the service. Not outstanding, but good enough. When I had to book them again, I had a completely different experience.
First, I had requested wardrobe boxes. No wardrobe boxes were delivered so I had to go back to my old place and pack up my closet, which was frustrating because that service should have been completed for me.
Next, note that the crew charges by the hour. They spent 1-2 hours to "stop for lunch" and one mover was dealing with a personal issue while on my clock. They

Please notice how many one star reviews Delaware Moving and Storage receives. There is a reason!!
My first warning is that their communication was poor. And then when the truck broke down several states away, I received a text message. No one would return my calls for days, but I would just get texts saying they “were working in it”!! There was no professional problem solving. There was no “make the customer a priority.“ It was all about their own inconveniences.
Ten days later the truck arrived, after my confused 88 year old mother had waited for her move to be completed.
