I found BCP Concrete through Yelp and agree with the other 5 star reviewers. Bret was very responsive to calls and messages. We needed to remove and replace a 100 sq ft section of our pool deck, which had sunk, probably due to an inadequate base. Bret scheduled the work within a few days of our return from a trip. He has an excellent team of workers who demolished and hauled away the old concrete and installed the new within 2 days. This despite them hitting one of the pool supply pipes which they cheerfully repaired on the second day after I had lowered the water level sufficiently.

Our backyard was a mess. Bret and his crew did an incredible job of replacing the old brick with beautiful stamped concrete while fixing our drainage problems. They all work so hard and are absolutely conscientious and dedicated. We can't be happier with the job. The entire team from in the office to the job site does a fantastic job. Late May 2020 I contacted BCP Concrete for an estimate. Dean arrived at the appointed time and spent about an hour with me to provide an estimate for 2 walkways and entrance for the front of our house. After signing the contract work was completed by early June, over the course of 4 days. Owner Bret came by the day before the concrete pour and spent about 30 minutes with me (a very interesting person!) to help select the colors and other details for the pour, and about his company. We are very pleased with the work.

Brett and BCP are about as good as it gets in today's fast paced world. Brett took the time to come to the house and get to know me, actually had real conversations with me and the design ideas I was trying to bring to life and when it came time to deliver the product he assured me he could... He and BCP delivered in an incredible fashion. Our pool and decking is (probably) 25-30 years old. A few years ago, there was a pool leak, which has been repaired, but the consequence was cracked and sinking concrete panels. We phoned BCP and Dean came out to look at the job. His evaluation and professional process convinced us to accept the bid, even though it was not the lowest we had received. The work proceeded in two phases - the first was removal of the damaged concrete panels and replacement. As part of that, Dean arranged for a pressure test of the pool circulation piping to ensure that the concrete demolition had not damaged/broken

We needed to replace a portion of our sidewalk due to tree root damage and also wanted to increase our driveway size. Everyone I spoke with at BCP Concrete was responsive and professional.
Dave worked with me with the City of Livermore to get the permits as well.
The work was done quickly and the crew kept the worksite clean. When they finished, it looked great. I would definitely consider them again for other concrete work.

My first contact with BCP was their professional salesperson, Dean Harris who was outstanding, gave great ideas without pressure. We waited a year to complete this project but when we decided to engage BCP they honored the original quote and all levels of this organization excel and are wonderful. Bret (owner who visited the site multiple times to ensure our complete satisfaction. The foreman was onsite and the cement work was added to existing cement which was done over 30 years ago, can't tell it was added, matched perfectly. Bret and his team are incredible at what they do! We had our pool remodeled and needed the decking done. We also decided to do our front walkway and some walls redone. we are so grateful for how professional and timely they were with all of the work they did.

We used BCP about 10 years ago when they did inside masonry work around our fireplace and we couldn't have been happier (and happy for the last 10 years!). We recently called them out to do our back patio and they haven't changed! One of the most pleasant contracting companies that we have ever worked with, and it's not just one or two of them - their entire crew is outstanding (also Gina who runs the office)! My yard is so beautiful after Brett and his crew transformed it! I wish I could give more than 5 stars. From top to bottom this company is very easy to work with. I read very good reviews before hiring this company and my expectations were high. They exceeded my expectations. The crew was highly skilled and always cleaned up very well. They installed pavers around my pool, natural stone steps around my house, natural stone around the pergola posts, and layed down flagstone steps leading to the pergola.

I called BCP concrete to schedule an estimate for concrete repairs to my backyard patio after discovering numerous structural defects with the original concrete job done by the unlicensed Beltran Landscape and Maintenance "company" posing as legitimate contractors. BCP was happy to send someone out and have a look at the concrete so we scheduled an appointment with Dean.

Bret and the BCP crew were by far the best construction experience I have had to date. They laid flagstone and ledger stone around my pool area and did an exceptional job. They were on time, professional and did an extremely clean job. It came out better than I anticipated. Had some concrete repair work to do. One section required matching the stamped concrete pattern which they did but the color was not a very close match. Brett the owner had his crew come back and replace that section with a color that was a much closer match. Great company to work with who stands behind their work. I would surely use them again.

Bret and BCP concrete is the best I have worked with. I had BCP do a ton of concrete and demo work and could not be more pleased with the results and pricing.
Plus, Bret stands behind his work 100%. My concrete BBQ top was not setting correctly because of the summer heat and he ripped it out and started all over again. Took full responsibility to correct it.

I have had the pleasure of working with BCP Concrete on a number of occasions. It started when my neighbors' huge tree lifted up the concrete near my pool equipment some years ago, Bret came out and gave me an estimate and did a professional job. Since then I have used them for a number of small jobs, but since their minimum was $1,500, I was able to combine it with other work so as to maximize the cost. What I like was that they were able to do a good match of the existing concrete so that it did not look like a patch job.
