I met with the owner of DHT on 11/03/16 to assess/bid my roof project. He agreed to meet another company’s quote of $10,269.38. We signed a contract for a roof replacement on 11/21/16. This included: removing 2 layers of roofing, replacing roof with flashing, removing gutter, replacing the fascia, & reinstalling the gutter. We agreed upon payment of 1/3 at contract signing, 1/3 when materials were delivered, & the final 1/3 at job completion. All payments were made as promised. Roof removal began on 12/13/16. Workers shattered our window the same day. It was just replaced 2/02/17. On 12/19/16

We had a lot of wind damage in January of 2017 and needed a completely new roof so my husband did some searching and found DHT on the BBB.
We spoke with Curtis and he initially got a tarp on our roof to prevent damage within a day of calling him. It took some time for insurance to pay for the roof and get our schedules in sync but we managed to get it done recently in about 2 1/2 days. Our roof looks amazing! Curtis was very professional. The guys who did the roof did it fast and they did a fantastic job!

My overall experience with DHT Construction & Roofing has been an overwhelming EXCELLENT! I am very pleased with the job done in installing my US Sunlight Solar Attic Fan. Curtis (the owner) is very amiable and helpful in describing what needed to be done to do the job properly. Curtis addressed all my concerns and helped me find the necessary people to get the job done correctly. I highly recommend DHT Construction & Roofing!

We're very pleased with the final look. Curtis kept us informed of the progress pretty well even though this was probably their busiest time of the year for a total re-roof. He listened to our concerns regarding proper attic ventilation as I know going from a cedar shake roof to the Malarkey XL shingles could make our second floor even hotter than it got at times with the cedar shakes. Scott said on our bid that they would ventilate to meet code - I think they exceeded it but will find out next summer when it warms up. Workers did a great job and were very pleasant to deal with. We selected DHT Construction to replace our roof after receiving four bids. We selected them not because they were the cheapest, but because it seemed they exhibited the most knowledge about how to properly replace a cedar shake roof with an asphalt composite roof. They were very thorough with the preparation of the house area (windows, trees, bushes, etc) before they ever started on the roof itself. DHT put on a roof and gutters on my house in West Seattle. They finished ahead of time, made it look better then I thought it would and were an absolute pleasure to work with Everyone was professional and very good at the work they did. They always let me know their schedule ahead of time and let me know if something had changed. The house looks as good as it ever did. I have all the neighbors asking about who did it because they like it so much. I won't hesitate to use them again in the future, and consider the experience as positive as any construction project I have had done.
