Organics of New England was formed to lead an environmental and sustainable path to a healthier world ONE lawn at a time. Our Goal is to produce a healthier, environmentally and aesthetically better lawn than traditional chemical lawn care companies are capable of, at comparable prices. Much of the lawn care industry continues to generally broadcast pesticides whether needed or not, The base of our philosophy is IPM.

IPM stands for Integrated Pest Management, a system designed to pair environmental stewardship with growing great plants. Integrated pest management (IPM) is the use of the most environmentally appropriate method or combination of methods to control pest populations.

If we grow a healthy lawn with proper cultural practices such as; using organic fertilizers, mowing at the right height, watering properly, reducing/eliminating many of the dangerous pesticides and synthetic fertilizers our turfgrass will be able to withstand the stresses of growing in New England and be more beautiful than ever imagined.
Services
Each lawn will have its individual challenges, whether its weeds, compaction, or possibly too much synthetic fertilizer. We customize our program to bring the quality up to what the homeowner expects while also working with nature to provide the lawn with sustainable health. With a lawn much like the human body, it isn't always what you put into it but what you don't.
The tick most concerning new englanders is the Deer Tick which carries Lyme Disease. The nymph stage of the tick is most dangerous for larger mammals and can be controlled best from May through June. For this reason we recommend followup treatments. Grubs can be major issues for a lawn. There are several species that cause damage in New England, primarily the Japanese Beetles, European Chafers, and May/June Beetles.
