KB Builders was founded in 2011 in Hutchinson, Kansas by Kurt Bauer. However, the story begins in 1990 when Kurt Bauer graduated from NWKTC and became a nationally certified contractor. In 1992, Bauer Builders Inc. was founded in Hays, KS and quickly became a dominant force in construction of new homes and businesses in western Kansas.
