Fantastic moving service! Smooth, easy & friendly movers, Aaron & Derek helped me consolidate two storage units into one unit today. I am so pleased with the service I received. They did a great job, especially considering they had to configure the smaller unit perfectly so that everything would fit, including fragile and odd shaped items. I was in a real pinch and needed movers. Every company I called was booked until mid-next month. I called Metro and spoke with John. His only available day was Sunday, and they typically don’t work on Sunday’s. John and his two guys, Alex and Eric, showed up right on time and got my 10x15 storage unit emptied in about 50 minutes. I drove my Uhaul while they followed. They emptied the Uhaul as I wanted. I had them drop the heavy items in the various rooms and the rest I had left in the garage. They took an awkward treadmill down to my basement via some tight stairs, a dresser to my second floor

This company and the team they sent to me was life-saving. They did the job so quickly and efficiently, and it was like a weight was suddenly lifted from my shoulders knowing I could get from my old house to my new one, for a fresh start! Phenomenal.. beyond my expectations. Arrived from Out of State to unload 10 tons of flat packed closet parts on 7 pallets . Unload by hand and station in groups and then move them to 11 different rooms in a three story house. All done in 4 hours ... not a scratch on any wall in the house nor any part. The workers arrived early - worked their “ tails “ off in 5 degree weather and when they a mistake or an issue corrected it or asked questions. From my initial contact w/ the Company ( and I called 10 prior )to the last part moved it was five stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

John Jr, Steve, Pat, and Alex were amazing! Showed up on time, were respectful of our home given the snowfall the night before, took great care of our belongings (especially the delicate/fragile boxes) and were extremely hard working and efficient with their time. They worked with us, went above and beyond, and were done much sooner than I expected. They packed our POD for us and used every inch! I definitely recommend!

They were very professional and focused and were, by far, the best movers we have had over our many years of moving. We hired Metro to pack 2 PODS for us for a cross-country move and they did a wonderful job of organizing and stacking our belongings and making the most of the available space. They also accompanied my husband to Good Will to unload furniture donations. I would recommend them to anyone living in the Chicago area.
